Not to say that a pissed-off Putin couldn't do all the world harm, but to expect the *alpha male* of the neo-communist world would not puff and threaten when the USA stood up to poison gas deployment, well, that would be just foolish.

What Putin needs to know is that he is flirting with mindless fools using islamism as a wedge to divide stupid western "civilization" and explode all other systems of government and the USA is one powerful nation (irregardless of Obama's nasty work) with which he could ally and preserve Russia while promoting peace among peaceful nations.
