Israel Will Again Be in the Cross Hairs

Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd

Again we are going to have shuttle diplomacy for another attempt at peace in the Middle East because apparently we have learned nothing from the years before when it was tried. What do I mean?
What do these major record-setting events have in common?
• The ten costliest insurance events in U.S. history • The twelve costliest hurricanes in U.S. history • Three of the four largest tornado outbreaks in U.S. history • The two largest terrorism events in U.S. history
All of these major catastrophes and many others occurred or began on the very same day or within 24-hours of U.S. presidents Bush Sr., Clinton and Bush Jr. applying pressure on Israel to trade her land for promises of "peace and security," sponsoring major "land for peace" meetings, making major public statements pertaining to Israel’s covenant land and /or calling for a Palestinian state.

Are each one of these major record-setting events just a coincidence or awe-inspiring signs that God is actively involved in the affairs of Israel?

In his book “Eye to Eye” Bill Koenig provides undeniable facts and conclusive evidence showing that indeed the leaders of the United States and the world are on a collision course with God over Israel’s Promised Land.
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem" (Zechariah 12:9)

You can order Eye To Eye on Amazon.com. It is a very good read and I still have two copies in my library to loan out.

Will Be the Same Old Story
It’s dismaying, annoying, and tiresome, but Donald Trump’s (predictable?) effort at forging a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians was probably always in the works. One wonders if a creeping new circle of advisors is responsible. It will again be the same lame land for peace deal like it was before. Hamas has already rearmed and is locked and loaded for the next ignorant move by the so called peace keepers.
A few weeks ago, Trump stood with Benjamin Netanyahu and basically said he would give Israel a green light to any “peace deal” he wanted. In other words, it seemed at least that Trump had a realistic view of the Palestinians—something none of his predecessors had. All of them in the last 50 years either didn’t get it, or didn’t want to get it. It was always the pressure game on Israel to give up land for peace, while giving Arab terrorists a pass. Gee, how did that work for Israel?

Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked said the obvious this week, that any attempt by Trump to forge an historic peace deal is “a waste of time.” Shaked, one of Israel’s young, strong politicians, knows what Trump seemed to acknowledge during the campaign: it hasn’t really been Israel’s fault.

The Palestinians will not even recognize Israel as a nation, always want Israel to concede to not rebuild on its own land before negotiations even start! What kind of dealings are these?

According to the Jerusalem Post:
“Like Netanyahu, Shaked, who will speak at The Jerusalem Post Conference in New York on May 7, and others on the Right like to discuss moderate Arab Sunni states joining an alliance with Israel as a different path to peace rather than negotiations with the Palestinians.
“But pressed on how this would work when all of these states still demand a two-state solution, Shaked hinted that the Sunni states may be saying something else behind closed doors, in light of their common interests with Israel economically as well as in opposing Iran.”

This is an extremely interesting comment, and hints that perhaps the Arab states are finally tiring of propping-up the radical and entitled Palestinians. The lure of an economic oasis in the Middle East—the other regional states are surely envious of Israel’s astonishing successes—just might make the Palestinians expendable. One can hope so.
My thoughts are give the Palestinians land in Jordan to resettle there and build tent cities; there are over one hundred thousand empty tents in Saudi Arabia complete with plumbing and air conditioning that could comfortably house some 3 million refugees if expanded. In addition Syrians could be included then when the war is over in Syria they can move back and rebuild their country giving them jobs.

To expect Israel to absorb millions of people who do not want to assimilate when the Arab world has brought in zero refugees who are their own kind is absurd.

Still, especially with the removal of Mike Flynn from Trump’s team, the Establishment in Washington is clearly not going to move from its left-wing efforts. In this way, Republican senators are no different than, say, Martin Indyk or British diplomats or the EU. All subscribe to the mad delusion that “two states” should exist in what is left of original Palestine. Would it be delusional for Israel to take back the original Promised Land given to them by God when push comes to shove? I think not.

Perhaps it’s just the lengthy investment in Oslo, but a surprising number of people hold fast to the two-state solution, that will never happen. The Muslims have shown to the world the land for peace deal will not work, nor will it work in the future.

Unpopular
I will tell you something: my adamant opposition to the establishment of a two-state solution—the creation of a Palestinian terror state on Israel’s doorstep—has made me somewhat unpopular even in the pro Israel movement.
In the past three years, some of my friends have cautioned me to “tamp it down” and stop being so “confrontational” in writing and speaking out about the delusion of the two-state solution.

After thousands of murders and other terror acts committed by Palestinians in the past 25 years, against Jews, isn’t it time to tell the Palestinians they are on their own? If not, why not?
I thought that just maybe, Trump would break the stranglehold Oslo has had on Western power brokers since 1990. It’s still possible he’ll stop wasting everyone’s time and stop thinking a peace deal can happen. Maybe he could use his considerable business skills to help forge economic alliances between Israel and her Arab neighbors. It is possible that modernity will win the day and we can break with past mistakes.

Because when it comes to the Palestinians, anything else is a waste of time.
