norte, There are many good reasons for that aide to Israel. First, they are a secure base for military operations, should America face a situation in which a large American intervention in the Middle East is needed. Second, they are the only democratic country in the area. Third, They are an incredible source of medical, military, and computer technology. The big American tech companies grab up Israeli companies as fast as they can. There are other reasons as well. Israel is the only country in the world that allows any persecuted Jew in the world to enter their country with no questions asked. The aid that Israel receives is largely recycled into the American economy for military items, such as the recent purchase of fifty F-35 fighters.
