On April 4, 1968, Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. was shot on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee.

Awesome man of God. A pastor friend of mine love to teach on him. One of the things he wrote in his diary,Dr. King said if he realized it had been more than 6hours since he repented of his sins, he would go find a quiet place and repent. He usually repented more often than that. If that man of God had to do that , that speaks loudly to me. Great example of a spirit filled man.
