She's a nice looking dog although I always preferred bird dogs and my favorite when I hunted a lot was the german shorthaired pointer. These were easy to train and they were excellent family dogs and they were easy to take care of as far as their coats didn't collect those damn burrs. Iresh setters were the worse for that.

Years ago, before Collies became half terrier, THEY were the worst. I know, As a kid, one of my chores was combing the damn burrs out.

The Irish setter that I had before the shorthairs, by the time I cut all of the burrs out of that dog it looked like a red german shorthair.
