There is a quote in the article I couldn't copy and paste to here, but it points out that Russia sees democracy as what happened to the US from 1990 to 2000 and the want no more of it. The Clinton years. The time in which the cost of our own commodities rose by 300 to 500% while our wages had become stagnant. The time we sided with Osama bin Laden in Serbia.

Yes it is.. Hillsdale is an excellent fact filled world of knowledge and teaching!!

I am subscribed to their newsletter..

I found this interesting as well~

Again, we do not know what the intelligence agencies know. But there is no publicly available evidence to justify Arizona Senator John McCain’s calling what the Russians did “an act of war.” If there were, the discussion of the evidence would have continued into the Trump administration, rather than simply evaporating once it ceased to be useful as a political tool.

There were two other imaginary Putin scandals that proved to be nothing. In November, the Washington Post ran a blacklist of news organizations that had published “fake news” in the service of Putin, but the list turned out to have been compiled largely by a fly-by-night political activist group called PropOrNot, which had placed certain outlets on the list only because their views coincided with those of RT on given issues. Then in December, the Obama administration claimed to have found Russian computer code it melodramatically called “Grizzly Steppe” in the Vermont electrical grid. This made front-page headlines. But it was a mistake. The so-called Russian code could be bought commercially, and it was found, according to one journalist, “in a single laptop that was not connected to the electric grid.”

Amazing the master minding technics used to put in motion such high levels of deception, just as we witness taking place right here!!

To call it appalling carries no admonishment because from the little I know on the subject it is obviously the accepted acts of every day measures to keep the powers that be where they are....

Our country no exception and obviously very good at it as well..

Putin is shrewdly brilliant and filled with self determination to succeed.. He has obviously learned well his challenges in crawling through the ranks and ultimately putting Russia back on track...

I actually think we might have been lucky McCain lost to Obama in that first election. He's the most trigger happy idiot on the planet.

That being said, as regards to all the disinformation, you'd think in the age of information we could more easily make decisions about our lives and our world. But truly, with the internet and it's connection to advertising and making money for clicks on websites, we seem to be awash in a world of misinformation.

I wonder if, in the past, people were ever as willing to lie as they are these days??

People in the past found telling the truth easier on their conscience, and slept better at night knowing they did the right thing.
However, politicians have never seemed to have that problem!

Right there with you, Linda. I would describe what Vladimir Putin has done with Russia as nothing short of brilliance. He came to power at the most splintered time in Russian history and brought the people together and gave them direction. I consider Vladimir Putin to be a brilliant statesman and a savior of his country.

If Trump can accomplish as much for America as Putin has done for Russia he will be successful. I was surprised how much the Russian people approve of him. Trump is popular amongst the Russian people also. Putin has made school prayer mandatory because of the effect communistic atheism had on Russia and today Russia is considerably more Christian than America. That in itself is shocking.

Trump should take a page from Putin's playbook. I've thought for awhile now that the U.S. now have more in common than the U.S. and NATO. Unless there is a drastic, and I mean Drastic w/a Capital D) change in western Europe's approach to Islamic 'refugees' we will loose our traditional allies and their militaries. In which case Russia will be faced which a bigger problem than NATO. I've read that nearly 40% of the Russian army consists of Muslims, who's side do you think they will take when push comes to shove. What we may see in the future is a face off between a world of Islam vs the U.S., Russia, China & India. Glad I won't be around.

My understanding is that Putin is not very tolerant of Islam.

Lying is rampant across all walks of society today. That nary adhered to Commandment about bearing false witness is sorely overlooked, in and out of churches. All liars think and believe they are the smartest one in the room. Even in a room full of their own kind.

EDIT: I am nearly ashamed I voted for McCain in 2008, but no way would I have voted for Obama, the groomed one. I'll forgive myself for voting McCain in the 2000 Primary.

Absolutely my understanding too. US military (complex) may be 40% Muslim, not Russia.
