If you look at it, it is not out of touch with costs associated with protecting the first family. Look at recent history, it cost 1.8 BILLION dollars a year for associated expenses for obama and his family. This is according to the Brookings Institution's Bradley Patterson. Giving this thought, do you think there would be a need for so much extra security if people would stop their protesting and nonsense? Just a thought.....

When I saw the figure , my thought was much like yours, not out of line for protecting the entire Trump family. Now that a Secret Service member "accidentally" left floor plans and other secrets where they could be "stolen" from her car, the figure will go up. The "progressives" have been known for their violence all along and are getting more forceful each day so nothing they do would surprise me.
