The realistic immigration policy will have to wait until Gorsuch is seated on the SCOTUS. Then we will have enforcement of immigration laws already on the books free of Ninth Circuit meddling. Nearly all of their rulings that have been reviewed by the SCOTUS have been reversed or vacated. Both the Constitution and the United States Code gives President Trump every authority to issue the EO's he did. The Ninth is simply being it's usual political whore self.
Every president is partially hamstrung until the end of the fiscal year in September. The budget is already law. New programs require money and that money is generally not available until October first. Liberals who expect miracles are, or should be aware of this, they just gave their God-King Obama a pass.

All one must do to understand the liberal fall is: look to the people who have been holding power when things fell apart. IMHO emotional decisions always seem to end up with severe unintended consequences. So much so now, we cannot maintain emotional decision makers any longer, hence the changing of the guard.
