Some years ago I gave a kid some work. He was a scrawny 16 year old. I found a bunch of clean up type jobs and the kid worked harder then any kid and most men I had ever hired.

He told me this BS that dad was in prison and mom in long term rehab... I did some calling around and found that the BS was true. He had 4 bro and sisters. At 16 he was the guy sending them to school getting them fed and some times out of trouble.

Over the years I hired him several times. He always worked like a mad man..

Had high hopes that the kid was going to beat the odds..

Couple years ago, he befriended me via face book, looking for work.. Had none, but he stayed on FB.

In the years from the last time he worked for me, he has been mostly in prison or in rehab..

Bothers me a lot..

Currently he is in lockup rehab. He sends cartoons every day.. Most are porn type and not fit to keep or show to others, but of late he has sent some funny ones so, what the heck I will show these.

darn,,,, I look at these again and they are not so funny. Only to me I guess because of the kid contents.. the kid now 20 something..

Well, I will stick up a few.

Yes, sad to say, this person is not a good guy..

All that he had to deal with was simply more than he could handle..

He would, I am sure rob you blind for drug money.. Although he says this time he is hanging in and making progress. other tell me that he has slipped away a couple times and brought drugs back to the rehab..

If he had not been such a hard worker, I never would have paid any attention to his problems... But as a skinny kid, he was amazing..

And so hard to find any kid willing to really work hard these days..
