It seems that MSNBC talking head Racial Madcow got a copy of Trump's tax returns. Her triumphant "expose" did expose one thing..... Trump paid a higher percentage of his income in taxes that that devout Socialist Bernie Sanders did. About 25% as opposed to 13%. Be careful what you wish for, Hobbit Dancers.

While it is interesting that Trump paid that much, it is not as interesting as how did Madcow get the tax return? There has to be illegality involved somewhere and Madcow should be getting arrested for possessing stolen goods at the least. If Trump wants to kill a swamp critter he would do well to pursue this with the IRS as well as Madcow.

It is amazing that there was a solid wall of non-cooperation, on all sides, in obtaining any documents pertinent to Obama but the government is porous as a sieve when it comes to Trump.

Neither of whom paid as much as I do.

Let's face it....the well off (or rich, if you prefer) do not pay as much as regular joes and janes. Whether liberal or conservative is an irrelevant factor when analyzing the fairness of our tax system. As the President once pointed out, taking advantage of all the loopholes and breaks makes one smart. It's foolish not to.

I don't see an issue worth crowing about. Perhaps Mr. Sanders is smarter than the President....another way to interpret the two figures.

Like with the health care issue, we'll see what's in the tax reform plan for the joes and janes of the world and what's in it for the well-heeled. I'm assuming, of course, that pretty soon there will be only a small economic middle class. I'm not optimistic about the outcome.

All you do is make excuses for the left and change the narrative. NEXT BIG STORY: Trump's dingo ate my baby.

Maddow said she is protected by the 1st amendment giving her the right to possess/expose his return. Don't know how she made that stretch but she did. And why isn't anyone pissed about the content of all these leaks, rather than the fact they were leaked? The real pattern here is since Trumps been in office we've seen so many instances of exposed info than ever before. This is good. It seems as though the left is losing control of their quest for control.

I think Madcow's claim for constitutional right is pretty thin. If Julian Assange or Snowden were in this country they would be in jail for essentially the same scenario. Illegal possession and disclosure of government documents.

working class stiff-you are saying that you paid more than 25% of your income in taxes ? This is not about a 25%
tax bracket but an effective rate of 25% on earned income. If true, you need to change accountants. America First !!!!!

My point being that the Democrats are NOT the "party of the working man." There are more Democrat than Republican millionaires in Congress. In 2012, the evil corporations that supposedly own the Republicans donated more to Democrats than to Republicans, and Wall Street donated more to Obama's campaign than any presidential race in history. Most of the tax shelters "the rich" used back in the halcyon days that Liberals prate about, when the tax rate was 90% on "the rich," were put in place by Democrats. These airheads don't realize that the truly rich have most of their money in tax shelters anyway. Most of their income is not legally taxable. If you have $1000, and $990 is in a tax shelter, who gives a damn if you tax the last ten bucks at 90%?
If Democrats are so concerned about the middle class, why did it continue to shrink under 8 years of Obama?
We have the highest corporate tax rate in the world right now, and "the rich" pay a little over 75% of the income taxes while 50% of the population pays none at all. Exactly what the hell is their fair share?"

It is quite interesting that the DemSocProgs consistently accuse Republicans and Conservatives of exactly the criminal behavior they indulge in constantly. It is a primer, if you want to know what crimes they are engaged in, listen to their accusations. As Seinfeld would say, these are bizarro Republicans.

Madow is pretty much untouchable.

Remember the Pentagon Papers? They were taken illegally also, but the courts gave the reporters the freedom to publish them without sanction.

Maddow might be, but her source isn't. Trump should have investigators go through the IRS like a hurricane to find the culprit. Access has to be somewhat limited.

As conservatives continually point out that they are not necessarily Republican (you have your RINOs), is it that hard to accept that not all liberals are enamored of the Dems? There is no question that the national Democratic party has lost touch with working folks. And us 'airheads' do understand that the rich of both parties hide all the assets they can under our current tax system. As for the fair share ....follow the money and tax it all equally. If 10% have 90% of the income, I don't see it as unfair for them to pay 90% of the taxes. (I'm using hypothetical numbers....just to make the point).

That's why I said I'm not optimistic that the coming reform of the tax system will help working folks at all....they have no income to hide in tax shelters.
