Read the comments on both articles. It is obvious that it is The Islamic State of Nowhere---ISIS---that is the fear factor here.

Either ISIS uses them as shields or ISIS kills them. Spoken like a true American.

Actually, "YOU" shouldn't be over there destroying anything. They don't want "YOU" there. The US has done enough damage.

YOU don't read MY posts, do you? I have told Ovomit, and America, to stay out of the Middle East.

I have been told by the highest authority that YOU are speaking out of shame. Try to get some distance; try to think of the world, not your own isolated, insular little corner of it.

The US has been the major contributor in unleashing one of the worst horrors known to mankind. V. Putin and myself do not want the US in the Middle East. UNLESS they work under the direction of Putin.

The Turkish Prime Erdogan has extremely thin skin when it comes to acknowledging what the whole world knows to be the truth about the brutal genocide of the Armenians. The horrific treatment the Molslem Turks gave to the Christian Armenians is beyond belief; only a depraved society could produce such monsters. The Junta which perpetrated this evil purge were the direct ancestors of the current Turkish regime and they patterned their atrocities on Hitler's model but they were far more depraved and brutal. Accusations of Nazi-ism coming from this source is laughable and no sane person would give that credence.

I don't understand why all these Turkish expats think they should be rallying and demonstrating in foreign nations for Turkish elections. Turkish Family Minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya was declared an undesirable alien because it was feared she would be igniting riots among the Turkish rally thugs. If they are so fond of Turkey they should go home and hold their rallies there.

These Turks are all holders of dual citizenship and this is a big part of the problem. There is no allegiance to the welcoming nation. This stupidity is even a policy of our State Department. Despite the fact that the oath of allegiance immigrants take to become a citizen says they abjure allegiance to all foreign sovereignties our State Department permits this. It is part of the one world agenda, fill the country with people who are there to take and exploit, but contribute nothing but demands for more and civil strife.

Turkey is at the center of most of the disturbances in the middle east, while they are claiming to be our allies, they are enabling ISIS by allowing oil convoys to traverse their borders unimpeded. Attacking and downing Russian aircraft not over their territory is not conducive to maintaining world peace. Erdogan is very quick on the trigger and what game he is playing other than attempting to become Caliph is not readily apparent. I can well understand why the Germans think their soldiers will not be protected and further arming of an iffy, wishy-washy "ally" like Turkey is counter-productrive. I believe the day is not too far off when we have to take back our weaponry even at the price of more bloodshed.

Geert Wilders is not railing about the Moslem threat for no reason and a good many of those Moslems in the Netherlands are Turks. They are a plague consuming Europe, Marine Le Pen, the French National Front president is of the same mind as Wilders. Wherever there are concentrations of Moslems there are riots and savagery.. The Sikhs of India have no Muslim problem because they kill every one of them who attempts to move into their territory.

As far as the Syrian's complaints that the junta is bombing indiscriminately, tell me if you will, how does one drop bombs on a city and not hit people? It really doesn't take a lot of brainpower to figure out that you should not be where the combatants are.

That will never happen.. America works under its own direction not anyone else.. Build allies work together, communicate, yes, but Russia is in no financial position to do so much without the assistance of others to get it done..

BO called for the same coalition of force in 2012 or 2014? and had 15 countries I think that joined but everything they suggested or wanted to do BO shut it down... Thry lost interest never had any meetings etc .. Putin comes in he's going to bomb ISIS right off the land.. Hit some prime oil targets and in transit trucks moving the oil.. All great~~ then what happened?? Putin comes out saying need others to join and it's not our responsibility to assume the whole resistance... BO, in his show of force after doing nothing another than being the laughing stock of the world and making America weak because he wouldn't let our elite military do their job gets into a pissing contest with Putin and back to nothing being done..

I've told my representatives, BO, and now my new President Trump and preventatives here to get out of the Middle Esst too! if they kill each other off so be it and I mean that most sincerely...There will never be peace there.. Pay attention to history and get the heck out!!!

Did you read the whole article on the Syrian bombing?

You bring up some good points, and I'm surprised that you are as objective as you appear to be. However, you are still viewing world events from the perspective that America can do no wrong. And never forget what I said about some events on the world stage being staged.

It WILL happen, lj. Things are different now. Power has shifted eastwards, no matter what the arrogant American neo-cons would like to believe, or would like to have Americans believe. And financially, the Russian Federation is in better shape than the U.S. Tremendous debt will do that to an individual or a country.

And Russia is best positioned to join together the eastern and the western hemispheres, geographically as well as culturally. Russia, Turkey and other Middle Eastern states, ALONE, have been waging the battle against ISIS, AND in spite of the bumbling and bungling---AND the lies--- of the U.S. Their is NO effective U.S.-led coalition, no matter what you hear on American TV, or around the world.

"I" told Ovomit to stay out of Syria. The world does not want the American military to do "their job".

Americans, in their naivete, know nothing about the rest of the world, nor do they want to. They cannot engage in helping the world, UNLESS they do so at the direction of V. Putin. Vladimir Putin will have access to information no other person on this planet can have, or will have. Welcome to the real world.

Americans need to come out of the cocoon they have wrapped themselves in for the last seven decades. No matter how much it is going to hurt their pride.

Hedge you must know more about the Federation than what is said about the financial crisis in Russia in 2014, through the present then.. The collapse of the Russian ruble beginning in the second half of 2014.... Confidence went with it and they are still struggling and want sanctions lifted so they can have open market trade etc..the oil collapse in price also hit they and China harder than thought as well..Right??

So where is their money coming from with a depressed market and loss of oil revenue?? they need sanctions lifted to achieve anything...

After what hills did to Russia and China is it no wonder they didn't want her??

As for Syria, they are as deeply embedded with the terrorist as you can get.ots all about oil, land, and strategically placed ports, military or not..

Look at the Turks and Greeks and while they have had their conflicts they also managed to keep some harmony with each other and work through it all.. Not anymore though and it's terrible each state is trying to over through each other..

Like I said, get out of the Middle East and if they kill each other off, so be it..

The worlds'needs on oil is no longer controlled by the Middle Esdt or OPEC ad a matter of fact.. The American dollar/petroleum dollar will crash without the movement, demand and supply and that's what keeps America involved...
