What these peckerheads cannot, or will not comprehend is that Sessions was not asked if he met with the Russians, he was asked if he met with them to discuss Trump's campaign. Liberal nitwits can paint with a very broad brush, except when they think nitpicking will accomplish their goals.

Loki,
Is that "splitting hairs?" Sessions could've answered it 2 ways. 1) "Yes, I did meet with the Russian ambassador but, didn't discuss anything related to Trump's campaign." (like he did, later-on, in his revised letter to the Senate committee. Or, 2, say, "Yes, I met with the Russian ambassador and we did discuss some things related to the campaign, such as, blah, blah, blah."
That it took a news story, releasing Session's meeting with the Rusian ambassador, to get him to admit to the meeting, is what caught peoples' eyes.
Why not disclose the whole truth? Why try to cover-up the meeting, only to be caught in a lie? The more lies, 'half-truths and deflections that are put out their, the more people suspect a cover-up is happening.
During the campaign, Trump invited the Russians to hack the Dems. He also said that the election was rigged. From everything that's come out thus far, it seems he was right. The Russians did hack the DNC and the election was rigged; just in Trump's favor, not the Dems. Even members of his own party are saying that, in private.
On a different note, how's the back? With all this changing weather in Tennessee, mine is going crazy! Since I got on Medicare, my insurance has gotten worse in terms of getting my pain meds. Seems the insurance company doesn't want to pay for the pills that worked for so mamy years and that I got under my old, private insurance. Now, I'm being forced to try pills that are no better than eating Chicklets!
Bummer!
