Actually she isn't as good as she is lucky. Remember she couldn't pass the Bar until she moved to Arkansas, which has one of the easiest in the country. After a few suspicious deaths surrounding her and Bill, people who.knew anything we're probably scared to talk.
I don't see her as especially brilliant. If she was there would be far less known about her behavior.
