Then there's the impact on the roads and infrastructure.
Vehicle impact to roadways are are rated by esals, 2.2 esals (the same wear to asphalt roads as 10,000 cars) for every tractor trailer (or even tri- axil dump trucks).
Now when repairing these roadways there is always diesel fuel and tar excrement runoff into local waterways, let alone the tax burden placed on the taxpayers.
That's not even including the destructivness these heavy trucks cause to the infrastructure of bridges and overpasses.
To remain the status quo with the way this oil is delivered is intolerantly idiotic, and is a real shame people can't seem to open they're eyes to this situation simply because a billionaire donar has politicians in his pocket.
