My question would be who are or were the press briefings meant for? In m y opinion, the briefings were meant to let the people know what is happening in our government, both at home and some matters abroad. I seriously doubt that questions from the press are always appropriate,
specially when they differ from the content of the briefing given by Spicer. Questions by the media should focus only the subject matter of the
briefing by Spicer. Most people do not care what the media thinkm unless it is strictly related to the subject matter of the briefing.
President Trump has the right to close the briefings, but that would not be a good gesture to the people who want to keep being informed what
our government is working on and what progress can be reported. Just as an added note: The press seem to editorialize their questions
which uses up too much time. Let the publisher do the editorial ad-lib and let the readers decide if it is worthy okr nokt

I'm an old gal who doesn't know how to tweet either, but I'll bet you I can learn if the need arises! I certainly do not watch press conferences....afraid my heart could not tolerate the crap that arises at them. I know how to give the bird too, but never do. I simply try to decimate my enemies with words that can cut right through their thin skins.

President blocked certain press persons from the most recent press conference. Some are calling this bad and not representative of Presidential press conferences. I support President Trump totally and I believe he has expelled those who are not there for real news, but to play "gotcha" with the issues at hand and try to make Trump look or sound wrong. I don't blame President Trump. However, I, too, feel a bit uncomfortable with his doing this and think the best thing he could do is ELIMINATE PRESS CONFERENCES. The President or Spicer could each day give a report on issues at hand on TV, on the internet, and in the news media sites. The press conferences have become more beneficial for the press than for the President, or the populace, or America.

I believe that the press needs to suffer brutal physical pain...live on TV see we all can laugh while they bleed.

Thanks for your comment. I, too, like that he takes no crap from the press. The press is far too fat for its britches. All of them think they are little kings when all they are are highly paid agitators and protectors of democrats and socialists. Frankly I wish that Presidential press conferences would STOP altogether......it would be the biggest hit to the media that I can imagine. It would minimize them quite a bit.

great idea

Hey Tasine....I'm working on my way to getting older...I commend you. Turn it right back on them and rip them to shreds with your words. They stutter and can't come back with anything to say cos they no darn well what they said in the first place didn't make any sense. What they don't understand: getting older comes with a lot of wisdom. We earned that wisdom..Wasn't easy. Another thing they don't understand is basically we just don't give a shit if they like it or not. We've earned that right. 😄😄

This is all a bunch of hoopla started by Trump in the GOP primaries and is continued on and on. This is evident because of the Trump TV show The Apprentice where he likes his theatrics. As the town hall attendees say - "Trump needs to keep his mouth shut until he thinks, (if possible), about what he is saying." We all see and hear him saying his hoopla, like Sweden, etc. more often than not. The Fact Finding info on the Trump/Clinton debate found that Trump said over 70 per cent false statements whereas Clinton said less than 15 per cent unclear statements.

I just finished reading a 'news' story by a guy with the last name of Conover. His name was the only thing in the story that was based on truth Then he went on to say Trump was doing what Nixon did. And of course the idiot left will not only pass these lies on but add to them. It's just like Fast and Furious. There isn't a Libtard out there that don't believe GWB started that gun running program and he had nothing to do with it. That is when obama needed to be dragged out of the White House and tossed in the big house. You know when this will stop? When we do our duty and use that Second Amendment for what it was made for. Genocide has it's good points. Never has a nation housed more idiots than America does now. These idiots keep opening their mouths they are going to find them crammed packed with something long and stinky. Which is probably why obama boy opened his mouth in the first place.
