Not surprisingly, most Americans think the states exist at the 'pleasure' of an all-powerful federal government when, in historic fact, it should be exactly quite the opposite.
It was the states that created the federal government and the states which, from day one, feared a massively powerful federal government.
So, what went wrong?
There is a group that has worked tirelessly to place that pyramid back onto its base.. wish 'em luck.
'Smaller government' republicans and conservative democrats alike are wanting to shrink that huge fist of the federal government, so, will they succeed?
