Don, when I was in the Merchant Marines, we were in a Typhoon for almost 7 days. We sailed into the sea and wind the whole time only to be pushed backward many a hundreds of miles. Point is after coming out of it we steamed on to our destination. Rome was not built in a day nor without set backs. Mike
