Peter tell me the truth. Does being an atheist compelled you to say the crazy and outrageous things you often say? No one has said anything about wanting to kill someone in this thread except you. If you freely choose not to believe in God, He allows you to do that and no one has the right or authority to force their beliefs on you.

You hope to just go to sleep but what happens if by your own free will choice in this life, you actually wake up screaming eternally in the next? A wise and balanced man would at least explore the possibility. I expect you know your Christian theology more from reading atheist publications than from the teachings of the early church fathers for example. Therefore your mind and reasoning powers are held captive to the left, to evil, and that would apply equally to your soul and give you a distorted and uninformed conscience.. Thank God for anti-biotics! They saved my life once too. I was both septic and e colii at the same time. Trouble was I didn't know I was as sick as I was. I had even mowed the lawn that day. Finally wife encouraged me, by forced of course, to go to the ER; they ran test while I waited and then pumped antibiotics in me for five days and strong antibiotic pills for 20 more. Doc said I would have been dead in 24 hours if I had waited. I never really felt sick until they began treating me.
