I was surprised Raylan, Cool Breeze, DJRich, Permafrost, or the phony Ipnmajor didn't jump all over this fake news.

Trump administration DENIES it's considering mobilizing up to 100,000 National Guard troops to round up illegal immigrants – but White House source says it 'has been discussed': http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4235164/Trump-weighs-mobilizing-Nat-Guard-immigration-roundups.html

And, if you're inclined to believe it, read this: Trump wouldn’t be first president to mobilize National Guard for immigration enforcement: http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/article133332154.html#storylink=cpy

They probably can't say much when it appears theres nothing they can do but bsdh.. if true the states they look to enforce round up would have the option, not forced upon them....

http://www.abc15.com/news/national/trump-considers-mobilizing-100000-national-guard-troops-for-immigration-raids
The draft document has circulated among DHS staff over the last two weeks. As recently as Friday, staffers in several different offices reported discussions were underway.

If implemented, the impact could be significant. Nearly one-half of the 11.1 million people residing in the U.S. without authorization live in the 11 states, according to Pew Research Center estimates based on 2014 Census data.

Use of National Guard troops would greatly increase the number of immigrants targeted in one of Trump's executive orders last month, which expanded the definition of who could be considered a criminal and therefore a potential target for deportation. That order also allows immigration agents to prioritize removing anyone who has "committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense."

Under current rules, even if the proposal is implemented, there would not be immediate mass deportations. Those with existing deportation orders could be sent back to their countries of origin without additional court proceedings. But deportation orders generally would be needed for most other unauthorized immigrants....<snip>

What is your point rivers,

Are you in favor of using the National Guard to get the illegals? It has been proposed by the right wing many times over the years and Texas had some standing near the border for awhile..

The trump punks tossed the idea around for a few days and decided not to do so..

If the NG was set on the job, would those states pay for the use.. That is the law.. Would the orange man pay it out of pocket?

So many rules to consider in doing this and the cost is never considered by those who want to see the Guard out there..

Got a few posts about your idea, most seem not to be connected to what you started the thread with.

"Fake News"... by who? Seems the thought about it , did not go with it.. end of story...

"Deport" them all to southern California. Let the liberal movie stars support them. They wouldn't be in this country long after that.
