Well, I am about an hour to an hour and a half SE of Weatherford. My brothers and I love camping at Fort Richardson State Park just north in Jacksboro. Most of what I aiming for these days are the servings on the counter/table/plate. The only questions I usually have are for extra helpings.

Born and raised in Texas, I have lived here most of my life. I don't know if I would live anywhere else. Texas damn sure isn't perfect, but it my home both by birth and choice. I doubt that I would live anywhere else. But, I have traveled throughout the country and always enjoyed the different locales and the people in them.
Well, I am about an hour to an hour and a half SE ... (show quote)

Only been to Jacksboro one time to pick up a horse. Still have many friends down there that I keep in touch with. Gosh dang...the summers were tough for me.Loved all the other seasons tho. Always been a northern girl so I love the snow.

And a nice snow it is. We get 12-16 inches at a Crack, 40 miles hour winds and 60 below with the wind chill factor. I stay in for those few days in front of the fire with lots of hot chocolate.Couple of times I just had to get out to the store for something on the snowmobile. Car buried in the garage by snow. Dang I'm too old for that. lol

I am in the south, it is way up north. Funny, after all these years of drought, we make up for it in one season.
