My father told me about you guys.
He was on Iwo Jima with the Seabee's and you guys got all the good food flown it.
He stole a couple cases of cherries so his platoon could have some 'cherry cobbler'
and damn near got court marshaled over stealing Air Force grub.

He also told me about the P 51's that would fly off the island , engine started sputtering
and before they could turn around and land on the runway the planes would crash
