OK, you get a pass, but only because I like you, otherwise it would be 'curtains'.

Talking wine, I had a little fling with Blue Nun in my early 20's. It went well with Chinese food, believe it or not (German and Chinese, who'da thunk it?). Haven't touched wine in a very long time. I do, however, have a taste for beer. Well, more accurately, ale. My all-time favorite is Boddington's Bitter. It goes down so easily and you can't drink many because it will kick your butt. As for lagers, I'd say Carlsberg Elephant Beer is probably the best one I've tried. I drank a bunch of them one night and paid for it in the morning! Good times. I have brewed some of my own IPA that came out pretty good, and I did an English mild ale once that my brother couldn't put down. In dark beers, I tend to favor brown ale over stout. Newcastle Brown Ale kicks ass, though in the stout leagues, Guinness is definitely king.

As for packaging? Who cares? I'm only interested in what's inside, although Grolsch does have an interesting method of capping the bottle.

I'm sorry to say I don't know any of the beers you addressed but I do like the names...

In ale, half a glass or bottle and I'm done.. Strange I can have my sipping hypnotic and not have any drunk feeling but the beer just can't do it..Other than a few sips of your New Castle while shooting pool (billards) I've not had anymore.. I played exceptionally well that night tho... Stouts are just too strong in taste to me... Never have liked them...

I'll sip any tho, just to taste them.. The first time I went to the brewery for totally naked, they give you a tray that has shot size tasters, but dang there were 15 on the tray... Needless to say I got a room..lololol and that's the truth..

When I lived in Chicago I would go to New Glarus, Wisconsin..a town that looks like your in Switzerland and it does because I've been to Switzerland.. dang don't drink their beer, your done for quick!!! Lol

So, the Totally Naked. Did it work?

I read the ad. Sounds good, just a basic lager without the pretense. My kind of drink.

It's a very smooth taste going down and yes it worked...I enjoy it if I'm going to have a beer which is few and far between..What I liked best is it had no after taste...The Fat cow I tasted was almost like a vanilla taste to the beer....No pretense is a good description..

So did you enjoy your pizza and wine? Are you ready for the peach cobbler that just came out of the oven? If so, I will fax you some now, before the arrival of Pete and his family as they will scarf down the rest rather quickly.

One 16" on its way. Italian red wine, or a nice home made beer which is your preference?

Home made beer? I don't know. The last time, which was the only time, I experienced a home made brew was when I was in my late teens. Placed about eight bottles on a shelf in the kitchen. In the middle of the night I was awakened by a number of small explosions. The kitchen was almost a disaster area. Booze can be dangerous. Think I'll stick to beer bottled by the professionals.

We help our neighbor make, and bottle the beer, and have been doing so for about 20 years. The neighbor has won a large number of blue ribbons and grand champion awards at home made beer competitions. When AuntiE has a virtual party we fax a number of kegs, as Slatten will be there and best to be prepared. In the real world beer is fun to make, but only limited in our drinking particularly since my heart surgery. The same goes for the wine.

Gee, I am sorry. Would you like one? It will be made and faxed within an hour. 16" all right, everything on it?
