QG, after reading his commentary I tend to dismiss his opinion. At least in this matter.

The general is most probably speaking of threat "potential" and in that matter he may be correct. Who the most immediate threat may be is a toss up but Russia is potentially a huge threat. I say "potentially" but not a certainty. Iran is out of control and as a religious driven entity, the fervour of the Ayatollah makes them unpredictable. To that add that I just read that part of the nuclear agreement allows them missiles capable of reaching Israel. If this is true I would place Iran currently at threat #1 because if they attack Israel as they repeatedly threaten, all bets are off in the middle east and the spill over will impact us heavily.

Your author is accusing Israel of terrorizing Palestine and the U.S. of terrorizing the world. This guy sounds like a wounded liberal. What Israel does in self defense I cannot consider terrorism and although the U.S. sticks its nose into far too much outside of America, which Trump plans to curtail, I don't see us in the guise of terrorists in today's context. Causing deaths overseas, absolutely, but doing so in the classic terrorist manner, no.

The way this guy states things in my opinion labels him as "take with a grain of salt" if not a spoonful. I think he has an agenda. I can't tell what it is definitely because he is playing both sides of the fence, but he is going sonewhere.

This is of course, just my opinion.

Nevertheless, there are other points of interest within the article. Do you always throw the baby out with the bath water? There are nuggets of truth in that baby. Gotta grab 'em while we can!

EDIT: The Ukrainian, and Georgia too. We had no business being there, either. Our relationship with Russia has been teetering since Obama's,1st term. Syria was Russia's "had enough of you Obama". breaking point. A war with Russia and/or China or even N Korea for that matter, would be the end of US, imho. Not too thrilled about Iran either given Obama's $150 billion gift.

Apparently, CNN finds "tell it like it is" speak, along with the act of "keeping campaign promises" too "jarring" for their tender little sugar-coated ears to hear truth. Did you see ABC's "This Week" with George? The interview with VP Pence on Sunday? It was really quite a good interview. VP won't bite the rherotic George throw at him. Leaving George no choice but to move on, covering alot of ground on numerous topics. Compare it to the Nitwit on CBS's Face the Nation". Georges' is the best interview I've seen in a very long time by the MSM.

George, however, appears to have not slept in 3 months. Seems to be inflicted with Tapper Syndrome.

Also, George is a generous man. He has donated up to $500,000 to my local homeless shelter. George has known the now retired inception director of the shelter for decades. They meant in NYC while both were serving at a soup kitchen.

Yes, CNN has been put on notice and thoroughly ostracized. I expect CBS and NBC may follow. Last week I watched the entire WH press conference on-line. I recognized only 1 MSM reporter in the front row. Don't recall his name, don't believe he was called upon either. Want to say he was NBC or affiliate MSNBC, but could be CBS. They 'Skyped' 4 reports too, from small news outlets across the country.

Not necessarily. Trump will either adapt, or be removed, where upon it would become a Pence administration. Trumps inherent weakness is his inability to manage anything other than his image. Trying to run the Presidency the way he ran his campaign, is what has gotten him in hot water, and he'll either change, resign, or the Congress will remove him - if and when it starts costing THEM votes.

Sooner or later ( it's looking like "sooner" ), Trump will realize that his "advisors" have their own agenda, and have been manipulating him. Had their shenanigans resulted in praises for Trump, he wouldn't care, but - it didn't.
