A liberal is a person whose interests aren't at stake at the moment. Liberalism is a mental disorder who advocate Socialism which values equality more than liberty. They are really simply communists without the testosterone to man the barricades. Liberals believe that Socialism is nothing more than the theory that the slave is a master......welcome aboard.

america iz inna backward spiral that started in the late 60's by college students who have grown up (physically) and are now adults (physically) but mentally are the same as children. children need guidance only till they are adults. liberals need guidance from the womb to the tomb...that makes all of them children.

Yeah, I hear ya about them libs but I'm really most concerned that people realize that the two party system is the sham that keeps us bound. Republicans are feeding us the same stale lunch that the Democrats shove down our throats, it all tastes the same.

WELCOME!! Always good to see new people joining us. There are people at this site who revere individual freedom and there are those who love controlling others. Those are the opposite ends of the political spectrum. All the freedom lovers believe in free trade and the value of one's property. All the controllers are collectivists, statists - they believe the state comes first, and they believe in those who work giving money to maintain the state. The money they collect goes to those who don't(won't) work and all sorts of cutesy bureaucracies that do no good and lots of harm.

Generally speaking, those loving freedom are called Conservatives and those loving control are called Progressives. Most Progressives belong to the Democrat Party which has sunk so low that it should be totally abandoned. Most Conservatives belong to the Republican Party, the Libertarian Party, the Constitutional Party. But do not make the mistake of believing everyone in any of these more conservative parties is in fact conservative. The Republican Party hierarchy is comprised almost exclusively of RINOs who are nothing more than democrat-lite and who serve no purpose to the Conservatives.

The Progressive calls the baby in the womb "the mother's body" to do with as she pleases. The conservative calls the baby the most defenseless creature on the face of the earth and should be protected, not allowing the mother to indiscriminately to destroy it.

Mr. Obama is, I believe, neither. Mr. Obama's sole interest is Mr. Obama. He is not up to the task of the Presidency and half the nation knew that when the other half elected him. He is mucking about, unconstitutionally, in everything American without understanding a hair of what America is about.

Again, WELCOME!
Again, WELCOME!...

All of us had to be helped to understand this site's arrangements. If you reply to a specific person or comment, you must NOT click on "reply", but on "quote reply". If you simply click on "reply", no one knows to whom you are responding. Don't worry about knowing this - NONE of us did until one of us discovered it. So glad you are with us!!

Welcome to the forum, Overwhelmed.
Pleas do not hesitate to post your thoughts on a topic, or even start your own. We are a spirited group from all point so the political spectrum. Don't take anyone's comments personally. Some here are following Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals to the "T", some without even knowing it. Have fun. I look forward to reading your posts.
