For the last few weeks I've noticed when I spell muslim not using capital M as in Muslim , my spell check underlined until I used capital M . I tried this with christian and was not corrected to use capital C . Does this happen to any others or has muhammad possessed my laptop ? and to my amazement just happened when I spelled Muhammad without capital M ?? What The Hell ??

My spell check capitalizes Christian.
I'm a believer and NOT a Christian but I'm NOT disappointed that the word believer did not capitalize automatically.
When I type muslim, my spell check allows me the option to use the uncapitalized term.

Just my program and cheap laptop .. However I like the phrase " I am a believer Not a Christian " sounds like a correct description of the way I live .. gonna use it , so don't sue me for plagiarism .. I'll have to plead the 5th , Crown Royal fits my taste ..

It does the same to me particularly when I refer to them as moslems. I think the spell checker in use on this forum is retarded, it quite often flags words that I use as incorrect, but when I use Word spell checker or an on-line dictionary the word is spelled correctly. However, it does require christians to be capitalized as in Christians. Perhaps your comment provoked a change.

Mine's the same. No line under Muslim but muslim gets the red line. Christian no line, christian still no line. Muhammad is a proper name so of course gets underline if not capitalized. Interesting.
According to Answers.com:
"The word "Christian" should be capitalized whether you're talking about a person, the group as a whole, or the Christian beliefs."
As far as I know, there's no fourth option. I was thinking this was maybe like the Libertarian / libertarian thing where there's a distinction between the party (capitalized) and the doctrine (lower case). For instance, I might say 'Christian Church', or 'christian beliefs'. That would make some sense to me. But then 'Christ' is a proper noun and so should be capitalized, same as 'Watt' or 'Ohm', as in 'Wattage' or 'Ohms'.
It appears the Muslims
are taking over the world, one laptop at a time...

Makers Marks is excellent, but Wild Turkey does it for me.
I do not use this sites spell check . Almost like it isn't an American English Spell Check.

Exactly how I describe myself. I believe in Jesus, but I don't speak and act as he does, and to me that's the difference. Slap me in my face and I will try to beat ur brains out!
