Thanks Obama! Obama’s 2006 vote helped fund Trump’s wall

Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he’s immediately starting construction on his big beautiful wall across the United States’ southern border with Mexico. And, he has former President Barack Obama to thank for it.

Trump signed an executive order to start construction on the wall. However, he’ll likely be tapping into funding available from a 2006 law for a 700-mile double sided fence along the Mexican border. That law was signed by President Bush and supported at the time by most of the major figures in the Democratic Party at the time.

The 2006 Secure Fence Act was supported by Democratic Senators Joe Biden (Del.), Hillary Clinton (N.Y.), Dianne Feinstein (Cali.), Barack Obama (Ill.), and Chuck Schumer (N.Y.).

They were at one time MAYBE. Or that was simply a way to make people feel they were doing something. Big note they NEVER utilized it.It was at most a placebo or band aid for a cut they had no intentions of healing.
