hi every one n MERRY CHRISTMASS. yes i said it n i don't care who it offends. i'm in america. if they don't like it they can go back to they'er own country. i am an american all the way. my freinds call me hillbilly. lol. i don't mind. i am 61 be 62 in march. i have seen this country change for the worst. i live by my constitiution . and more ppl need to do the same. my wife just had a heart attack n oct . n now she was told the 18th of this month she is in stage two demintia. my year has hit a big time low. i am on dis , she is now going to get it. i love to help ppl in any way i can. i do a little antq furnature refinishing on the side. just to keep myself buisy. don't charge for it just do it to see the happyness on they'er face. i hunt ,i like to just go shootin once in a while just to releave stress. what is goin on in this country makes me so mad. i don't understand how the american ppl can let this keep goin. i love my country. i was in the navy from 73-76. n if they need me disabiled or not i'ed be there. thank you . tom

LandoftheFree, my sympathies and best wishes go out to you because I know a little about what you are going through. It is very hard to find anything to be happy about in the personal situation you find yourself in. While we don't agree at all politically, that doesn't matter in the circumstances you find yourself facing. Wishing people a merry Christmas doesn't offend anyone, I think. We all receive your wishes with gratitude.

Growing up in a Christian nation is a true blessing. We have freedoms written into the constitution so we the people are protected from government. I am thankful for you and all of the men and women who are currently serving and have served in our military for their efforts in the assurance of our ideals and our freedoms, not just for the US but for most of Europe as well. God Bless everybody, and I'll say Merry Christmas! Stand for what you believe so you don't fall for just anything.

My mother had dementia for several years...moderate the first years and not disabling until the last three years...in fact, barely handicapping the first five years and able to live on her own. Don't be disheartened by what your wife and you are going through--lots of people are in the same situation. Be patient and loving when she retreats to confused younger days as my mother did and didn't know us.

thank you john, i do n will love her forever to the end just like my childhood precher asked of me. pluss i belieave in my cometment. i know it's goin to be a long hard road . i'm in mt now but i made a promis to her n my daughter n sis inlaw, if this was true we would move back so she can be with her fam. so we r goin back to il. don't matter how much i don't wanna i made them a promis, n i will hold up to it for my wife

God bless you and may he keep you wrapped in his grace. My mother, already not well mentally, has been in her own world since my father's death in 1998. It has been years since I have been able to coax a glimmer of recognition into her eyes. She is now 92. It is a hard road that you start a journey down. It sounds as if you have such a good heart.
