I have done a cursery study of islam, muslims and very few Americans understand what you just ssid. Many Americans haven't a clue what salvation through Jesus means, yet classify themselves as Christians. The same can be said for some muslims, having no understanding of islam. They are the peaceful muslims, but if any Muslim tells someone they ate peaceful and against the jihad attacks, that do understand islam are flat out lying.
We have in my opinion a majority of lying muslims in America and are in far more danger than the government would reveal to Americans. Obama knew exactly what he was doing keeping the borders open and flooding us with middle east refugees.
Unless Trump defines islam as political and not a religion, a danger to America and destroys their mosques. We will have American cities destroyed (bombed), perhaps our water supply poisoned, a plague released or a hundred other possibilities.
Americans need to be vigil, ever on guard and aware of their surroundings. I fear what "will" happen, is going to happen.

The problem is, only rarely do the ignorant believe me. They just can't envision a demonically inspired religion, but presume that all earthly religions must be based on love.

Also when push comes to shove and enough Muslims are getting into Jihad where serious measures must be taken, the moderate Muslims will realize what the Koran says about the Muslims being hated and persecuted in the last days is coming true, then they will all join their jihadist brothers. That in fact is what Bin Laden and Obama have understood and have wanted to bring about since in Islamic theology the Muslims believe in the end days and Armageddon as we do, only they feel it is their duty to help bring it about.

Baffling with the site's that tally how many Christians murdered per month/year todate, jihadist attacks, number of bombings ect. The site's that breakdown verses in the Koran Kalinga for caliphate, for murder, for lying, the hate verses and so on. Any 6th grader can read through these sites and understand in about an hour the evils of islam.
I understand the liberals rejecting information you give, because they refuse to read anything not in lock step with leftist views, but conservatives rejecting the evils of islam makes no sense at all.

It begins with Little League. Everyone gets an award. Grade school through college they are all pampered and so pitiful. Their feelings get hurt and the twisted professors have them in for hot cocoa and counseling to soothe their poor ruffled feathers. It has nothing to do with color or sex. No wonder the nation has become so weak, they can't accept losing an election. Where do we go from here? Trump may be able to change things.
