I'm not sure if this qualifies as a lie, but PRESIDENT Trump said at the inauguration, "I'd like to thank President Obama and Mrs. Obama for the help they provided during the transition. They were magnificent."

It's called a white lie. He is trying to be polite as opposed to most liberals.

That was mere politeness and not feeding slanderous remarks to the media. We all saw and heard what Obama and Michael did and said. Most particularly, I recall M telling Oprah that America was entering an era of hopelessness. Trump knows we know. It was not necessary for Pres. Trump to iterate the cold facts. I'm old enough to remember after the inauguration of the new President, former President Truman and his First Lady waited for a train to take them home to a near bankrupt family farm. That's when the Govt decided to give retiring Presidents a pittance for a retirement check. He was a Democrat and my family have always been Republicans but Harry was much admired. I wasn't old enough to be a party member then, later became a steadfast Republican, but Truman has always had a special place. Contrast that to today's "Democrats". Thank you if you read this.

That is NOT A LIE. AND I think it will be brought to the forefront now and something ACTUALLY done about it!!! He conceded temporarily, for the sake of a peaceful transition of power. After all he knows when to drop an issue. But, mark my words, it is NOT going to go away!!
