It doesn't appear that they learn from their mistakes, they just keep on bullshitting US!
Money must be their bottom line, and most of that comes from advertising.
I started buying non name brands, the ones that don't advertise thru MSM.
If all that voted for Trump would do this, they would learn or fold!
Need more suggestions to help with this please, MSM needs to be stopped!
Thank you.

How about a new anti-trust law, no one entity can own more than one form of news media. A TV station, a Newspaper, a Magazine, a Social Media forum, or a Radio Station. No news network to control any of the media in which their product appears.

Agreed that the pocket book is the most direct route.

With Trump using social media and shunning the MSM regarding pressers, the message is loud and clear. I no longer watch any of the MSM and tell people why and provide examples.

Rather than looking at it as punishment, I see it as they are not trustable therefore no longer relevant. I think contacting those advertising on MSM and telling them you no longer purchase their products and why would send a message also.

Beyond thst, I don't know.

Hey, Trump quoted from the National Enquirer so it can't be all bad. Oh wait, Trump quoted from it--that would make it bad...

The lifeblood of respectable newspapers are their credible and brilliant writers whose passions run along one thread ...the pursuit of truth and delivering the truth in its pristine and unadulterated state.
This specie of journalists is fast fading into the shadowy cracks of
either old age or ennui.
Punishment for libel and lethal
inaccuracies are heard in courts of law if the offended party wants Justice.

If proof is provided I'm sure the appropriate agency would be available. As always, to be enforceable it requires that congress pass law disallowing opinionated ridden commentary disguised as news, as well as prohibiting the knowingly publicising of fraudulent stories. Enough damage to our nation has been done due to both of these occurrences. The divide between income classes and ethnicities has broadened significantly because of the MSM.

There are plenty of legitimate reasons for people to disagree. We don't need festering hate nor fear being magnified by some news person's unwanted opinion or false story.

Obama has devided us. Unfortunately it may take law to stop the division and stopping the fanning of those flames seems to me to be imperative.

There does not appear to be any means which will not be subverted almost immediately to suppress free speech. It took a landmark court case to decide that James Joyce's Ulysses was not pornography and that opened the door to today's porn ridden society. Yet, it also allowed dissenting political opinions to be expressed freely, without the group in power suppressing first amendment rights of free speech. Any time that speech content is regulated it can be distorted, used as a weapon in politics, and ultimately erode our freedom from government.

I do not trust any governmental body, to respect our freedom and I see no other method of assuring a diversity of opinion in the MSM other than to prohibit monopoly acquisitions of news outlets.

I believe there should be a law so they can be sued. I know that some stars have sued the cheep tabloids for lying. They are no longer reporting honest news and what they do put out is detrimental to peoples reputations and in some cases national security

For all of us who voted for "the winner", I would start by boycotting a lot of outfits, including Alicia's favorite news source, SNL and Alec Baldwin. Seriously, I think Trump should look at having only two pressers per year. Spontaneity is great up to a point with his Twitter acct. but he should go over them carefully because they could have a tendency to get him in trouble. As much as I'm not a big fan of Brennan (CIA Director), he did have some prominent points made to Chris Wallace this morning. Good interview. Trump has a tendency to fly by the seat of his pants. And unfortunately, it could backfire. I like it when he goes around the press, but he needs to be careful. If he handles it right, it could become even a better tool. He needs to be sure he understands that every word he puts out there is scrutinized to the max. MSM is not going to give him a shot, so I would tend to use "the I have a phone and a pen" philosophy, since they're not going to be truthful. OMT, I would give my most loyal media outlets my A material, FOX news, newsmax, Tomi Lahren on theBlaze...those outfits or journalists who give him a "fair shake", and to Hell with the rest of them. Until they give him or better yet the office of the presidency RESPECT. Acosta was a douche, period, and people like that need to pay the price. Trump will not let him forget it.

And therein lies their greatest weakness. Turn the TV off. That's all you need to do. Once the audience starts shrinking, and it will, they will lose advertising revenue and it's all downhill from there. There's plenty of online sources for news and current events, and most of them are far better at presenting news in non-biased ways that leave you to make up your own mind about the topics of the day. Once no-one is trying to tell you what to think, the whole world is a different and friendlier place. If not for football season, there would not be a TV in my house.

These people having fits about Trump's election victory are mostly being led by the nose by their media sources and so-called 'celebrities'. If they'd just turn the TV off they would see that all these dire predictions are not what they seem. The problem is that they can't just 'cut the cord'. They were raised with the television entertaining them from the earliest days of mom sitting them down to watch cartoons as toddlers (the babysitting box), through childhood and adolescence, to where they are today. It's every bit as hard for them as quitting smoking 'cold turkey' is for a 20-a-day smoker. Don't feel sorry for them, try to educate them to the fraud that's being perpetrated on them through the mainstream media. Just don't be surprised if you get a violent rejection. Well, you tried. Just walk away and leave them to their own little world...
