How to dispose of pig art in congress

Apparently there is quite a controversy brewing in Congress as to what do with a student David Pulphus' painting who depicted police officers as pigs. It appears Democratic Rep. William Lacy Clay re-hung the painting three times after it was taken down by Republican lawmakers. Clay feels the artist is allowed his fundamental free speech rights in the content of the painting citing it is his 18 year-old constituents worldview on police. I think the way to resolve this is for a police officer to return the painting to David. Perhaps he could get a tour of a police department and go for a ride along with the officer. If permissible, allowing him to look at some of the evidence. Perhaps it would be a way for this young man to see a different worldview of what it's really like to be a police officer. Perhaps Rep. Clay could go with the young man. 😈

Why not? not just take the painting to the nearest incenerator, and burn it?

The problem in America is that too much stupidity is seemingly covered by the free speech right. That absurd painting is just about as important and wonderful as BLM.
And AND has nothing to do with free speech anymore than a newspaper or tv station's
right to knowingly print lies. Send that young man to a psychiatric clinic for a visit in
Russia.

That sounds like a jolly-good idea, Mollie. And perhaps when they are riding in the police car, the officer can explain to the "artist," {and Rep. Clay (D)}, why it's not nice to portray police as "PIGS," and hanging a "painting" (D)epicting police as "PIGS" at the WH, encourages liberal progressive anarchists (D), to just kill more "PIGS!!!" Geeeee, I sure hope all that sinks-in, especially to Rep. Clay (D), and his (D) comrades in Congress. VERY SOON. Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESIDENT "45" DONALD J. TRUMP (R)!!!

I figure, he can have his right of free speech and paint anything he wants. BUT nobody has to HANG the thing. There's the problem. It never had to be seen. Trashcans are there to be used. Bad taste is bad taste.

Why not? it would be a good way to see what police officers really do. It might cause the impressionable young man to want to become a police officer himself. Couldn't hurt for him to go on a "ride along." He would certainly learn that police officers aren't our enemies. GO FOR IT?d

Mollie-anyone who supports that kind of art is anti law-enforcement or a real pig. Looks like at least one democrat likes the art so maybe Clay should take the painting home to his sty. Good Luck America !!!

So is ignorance. And my belief is right up there with the word "nigger" and that's not allowed as free speech.

Nothing said, painted slur, hanging in the halls of Congress. That artist is so sadly afflicted and uneducated. The people on the board who selected that painting are trouble makers and knew what they were doing. I am insulted that after reading my posts you would throw in that Constitution hating thing at me. I've read your stuff and never knew you were not the Marine veteran you claim to be.

I believe you misunderstood the context.
