How is it that we can spot this BS and call it what it is but these so-called 'news professionals' get sucked in every time. Could it be that it fits a given agenda and the retraction is always buried on page 10 but the 'news' somehow always finds its way to the front page? Nah, they wouldn't do that. Fact is, Putin already said he won't do anything until Trump gets sworn in. Even offered to give US diplomats' kids a Christmas party at the Kremlin.

I've heard that before.
Hold it there, Larry. You said: "Fact is, Putin already said he won't do anything until Trump gets sworn in." Are you thinking Putin WILL "do" something then?

Well, yeah. Probably invite his new American friend over for drinks or something...

Kira-believe Putin will give Trump time to delve into the situation and determine whether the Obama actions were, timely, warranted, or knee jerk. Once Trump has all the facts he will lay the case out to the American people (to the extent that is allowed in concert with security rules) and subsequently take appropriate action. This could mean adding or removing sanctions as the situation dictates. I believe Putin will be more respectful of our sovereignty with Trump at the helm than with Obama whom he does not hold in high regard. One must recognize that the job of every leader of a country is to ensure the safety and welfare of his/her people. We expect that of our leaders and so do the peoples of other countries. It is not alien that leaders would try to learn other countries' secrets to determine what their plans might be and how if affects their own security or how they might get an edge on or a preview of upcoming treaties or actions that could affect their country. To think otherwise is being naive. Good Luck America !!!

And after Putin gives Trump time to do all this, what are Vlad's options?
Ovomit's actions were neither timely, warranted, nor knee-jerk. They were simply a childish response to his realization that he is not the one his mother (or more precisely, mother-figure) loves best. He also believes, not just that he is a genius, but that the American people, even his mother-figure, will think him a genius. Now you may not believe this, but the rest of the world does.

I was just re-reading your post, Ricko, and I see that you think I am worried that V. Putin might do something hurtful to America. I appreciate your attempt to calm my (non-existent) fears. Vlad has the situation well in hand. That is, Vlad and myself have the situation well in hand.

Actually there is no proof, no evidence at all. Putin no more influenced the presidential elections than I did.
You read the underlying meaning behind my comment, didn't you, Larry?
I did! I really did! I'm so proud of myself I could bust! I was starting to doubt my own sanity but now I see the light! Thank you so much... (sniff, sniff, blows nose in handkerchief)
