Abuses and usurpation of our Constitution

Where did all the political corruption come from? We have the constitution for protection but how did the usurpation raise it's ugly head? We all knew for years, that politicians were crooked, liars, manipulators for their own purposes. It has taken this administration to bring forth the extent of corruption, lies and deceit fomented from past decades to come to light.

Now is the time to look hard at where we want to go as a country, as a nation. We are at the precipice, do we take political action when needed? or do as we have in the past and sit on our laurels. All this takes is interest, common sense, communication and love of this Nation and its peoples...

Need to ratify the 13th Amendment barring attorneys.
Q. Does anyone really trust them?
The term limits with everyday Joe blows in office after bringing them home to their respective States.

Here's a good place to start but "We the people" must effect ratification in 27 more States. 11 States already ratified back in 1800's. It's up to us now!

Where did all the political corruption come from? ... (show quote)

"WE" are, and have always been {since the American Revolution}, plain, an "experimental," Elective Constitutional Republic; and what's an "experimental" Republic to do if not "experiment." "WE didn't become the strongest and most humanitarian nation {"Shining Light on the Hill"} on earth, by wimping-out at the (D)istinct probability of an Attila or Nero or Pilate or Hu, slithering into our free-market Western culture, and a controlled "crash-test" is our constant "WE THE PEOPLE" method of separating the wheat from-the-chaff. "WE" are ALWAYS on a "precipice," but our Creator, {with the help of our Founding Fathers}, "established" a rather invincible, advanced form of government, and a basic "sunbeam, in the whole volume of human nature, that can never be erased" {Alexander Hamilton, 1775, "The Farmer Refuted"}. The past nearly 8 year controlled "crash-test," was a real doozy; but patriotic America {Jose, Leroy, John, Mary and Wong, and family}, did swimmingly, once again. The recent Presidential election proved THAT, and now "WE," with the help of President Trump, our precious "Boys in Blue," our patriotic military, our Constitution and our Bill of Rights will just have to start to mop-up the anti-American rabble and debris. The head of the "Beast/snake" has been electively decapitated, and the mindless body and tail are now crashing around America in their ultimate "death rattle;" until dawn; January 20, 2017!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESIDENT "45" DONALD J. TRUMP!!!

Remember, the 27th Amendment was done by one college student at University of Texas. It says no elected official can get his raise until re-elected. The" People" decide their governance,I thought!

The 3 branches of government are all interconnected. They're supposed to be a check on each other but they depend on each other so much that this whole 'check' thing just goes by the wayside. For instance, the Supreme Court is supposed to rule on the constitutionality of a given law, but those same justices are appointed by political entities and have known political biases. The recent Antonin Scalia replacement is a good example. A Republican Senate refuses a confirmation hearing for a well-qualified candidate because the nominee is a Democrat. Given that the Constitution says the same things whether read by a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or any other political 'flavor' you care to mention, why should it matter? It matters because the Supreme Court justices have political agendas just like all other members of government and so 'interpret' this plain English document to suit that agenda. They have even been known to 'discover' laws that no-one else ever noticed, like the recent right to 'gay marriage'. I still can't find it anywhere in the Constitution but, there you go.

The Legislative Branch is the one with the greatest power, that of appropriations and legislative origin. No matter the law, if Congress doesn't fund it, it cannot be implemented. Being split in two is supposed to be a check on both chambers but, well, not really. Originally, Federal Senators were chosen by the State governments and were meant to give voice to these legislatures. The Seventeenth Amendment to the Constitution changed that to a popular election of the people, just like Representatives. The House of Representatives is supposed to represent the will of the people and has sole responsibility of appropriating funds and originating laws governing taxation, commonly called the 'power of the purse'. The Senate was originally designed to give voice to the States in these proceedings. Not any more. Senators, like representatives, are beholden and answerable to the general electorate, hence the State legislatures have no voice in Federal government proceedings.

The Executive branch wields power from the office of the President and the Vice President and is responsible for implementing the laws and appropriations passed by Congress and signed into law by the President. The President may decline to sign any piece of legislation and return it with his criticism to the Congress, who may then make the requested changes and resubmit to the President, or may choose to pass the legislation by a 2/3 majority, thus overriding the Presidential veto. Or may simply take no further action if the veto cannot be overridden. The President and Vice President are officially chosen by a group of electors referred to as the Electoral College. In theory, the electoral College could select literally anyone, but most States have laws requiring electors to vote in reflection of the popular vote in their respective States. Electors who do not follow this course and vote for a different person are referred to as faithless electors.

So what we have in actuality is three branches of government, two of which are elected by popular vote (Congress (House/Senate) and Executive (President/Vice President)) and one which is appointed by political fiat. They can and do work together to further whatever agenda is in the majority at any given time. This is why it is so important to Republicans that 'their' President nominate the Supreme Court justice to replace Antonin Scalia. Regardless of what political party is in power, there is one name that will not be put forward for a seat on the SCOTUS: Judge Andrew Napolitano. Why? Because he will not 'interpret' the law. He doesn't have to. He will apply it as written and that's anathema to both major parties.
