Isaiah chapter 6

Verse 1

Uzziah is also referred to as Azariah in other books of the bible.

Verse 2 - 7

When in the presence of the Almighty, the first thing you realize is your own unworthiness. God is well aware of Isaiah’s emotion, and has brought everything to enable Isaiah. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

Verse 8 - 10

This is why Jesus taught the multitude in parables. Verse 9 & 10 are quoted in Matthew 13:14 & 15. Our ability to perceive truth is not in our hands. It is possible to read the bible and your understanding be unfruitful. Like it says in 2 Peter 3:16, wrest scripture to your own destruction.

Verse 11 & 12

Things are going to get worse. This nation looks down on the people it needs most; men of vision.

Verse 13

A remnant shall return. When Christians leave this land, it will go to hell.
