Recently, the Know-It-All know-nothings of the emotional earth-first-types have blamed earth tremors and earth quakes on the fossil fuel business and its technology known as 'fracking'. All sorts of "evidence", usually provided by government-supported "scientists-for-hire" personalities and sham showmen in the likeness of AlGore.
I have a question for those people: About 30,000,000 years ago a giant earth quake caused the rip in the earth's crust 800 miles long- Who was doing the fracking back then?

Lived in Oklahoma for over sixty years, never felt an earthquake until they started fracking, I now feel an earthquake about 4 or 5 times a week!

Ya, sur.

Grandma dies after the neighbor's Harley rode by... grandma didn't die before, so all Harleys need to be banned- BANNED!

Equated to the recent earthquakes in OK or anywhere else, what is lacking is evidence those quakes were caused- CAUSED-- by fracking. There is none. It is all anecdotal, incidental.

As for the business of politicians-- POLITICIANS--jumping to conclusions and passing laws based solely upon feelings, emotions, pure nonsense.. well, this is not the first instance, is it?

Once irrefutable hard, provable, evidence is produced that fracking causes earth quakes and/or global warming.. I'll join the chorus. Until then----------------

All part of plate tectonics. In theory for at least 150 years, proved about 50 years ago.

Well, this makes sense ... http://www.cbsnews.com/news/is-fracking-causing-oklahomas-earthquakes/ this happened in Colorado almost 50 years ago. Adding water it acts like a solvent and lubricant so the plates, tho technically dormant, slip. So either they will pump water in where the oil has been pumped out or, eventually the earth will subside. Better than freezing and starving in the dark by any measure.
