I'll leave it at this. Yeah, we all want the same basic things. That's why we have to WORK for those basic things for as long as we're able to. It is not up to government to provide those things.
Have you read the Constitution? If so, I would encourage you to empty your mind, and read it again. Then read it again. Rinse, repeat.
Yes Arch I've read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Federal Papers, and more...so tell me what have you've gotten that you think I've missed?
...and yes we all work hard, to try and have the life we want to provide for our family and ourselves, and we are only as strong as our weakest link, do you agree with that? What is our weakest link? Is it our government, the politicians, or the people? For arguments sake, let us say it is the people.
OK so where do we go from here? Any suggestions, and this is not including the illegal aliens, that is another topic. Let's point the finger at ourselves and try to fix where we've gone wrong. It does start with the man in the mirror doesn't it?
Tell me Arch as it stands now do the masses fear the few,(of power), or do the the few fear the masses. Which way should it be, and should they even fear each other?
This is where I believe America began in it's conception... as a shining beacon on the hill, and at that historic time of creation they didn't fear each other. I could be wrong and overly idealistic, but that is how I would like to see it again. There is only one path for that destination, and that is to come back together. They (we) will never get our country back, until this is achieved.
If for example AO was on a battlefield, would he ask his soldier in arms next to him what his political party was before he got his back? I think we both know the answer to that, and that's the attitude we need right now. That... no matter what... I got your back.
When we have American's hating and fighting each other along with the their own government that will lead to only one end, people should think very carefully, before they get what they ask for.
