I am remiss in signing-up for health care with 5 or so maladies @58 years of age. As a "real liberal," I am not happy with all of the reported screw-us's in the Obama affordable care legislation, because frankly, I'd rather be working. What's one of the taboo topics in "The Media" these days? I am white, I am experienced, and I cannot find a damn JOB.

I call it "The Great Recession."

Welcome!

I used to be liberal up until Jimmy Carter but became an independent with a ever slight lean, some days left, some right. Damn right on the work thing, I became disabled in 2001 and still miss working.

This whole Obamacare thing was designed to provide health insurance to the approx. 30 million or so folks who did not have it before. What about the 150 miilion plus who already have/had it? They were promised they could keep their present policies but are now being forced into these exchanges because their present plan(s) doesn't/don't measure up to the requirements of the new law(oops, forgot this is not a law but a tax). Trouble is too many people are finding out the new premiums are higher than they were paying before(not in all cases). What the heck is up with that? What comes next? Mandatory this and that!
There is aready a push to require people to get the new N1H1 vaccine. I'm a veteran covered by VA Healthcare so I'm fortunately not mandated to enroll in Obamacare but I do worry about the rest of you folks out there.

The premiums paid for health insurance are for catastrophic illness. To be used at a undetermined time. It's the deductibles that are not affordable. A family of 4 in many cases has to pay the 1st $12,000 of medical costs. And men have to pay for birth control. Well, guys I suppose it's time men paid for their sex. Does that make all unmarried women whose? :XD:

Obama care higher premiums and higher deductibles. He said there would be no new taxes. Every body read his lips. He got himself re-elected base upon the fraud he perpetrated upon the people. Wonder where the liberal mount will be erected so the progress flocks can go and kiss it for the love of their messiah. I heard Mt. Rushmore WAS IN CONTENTION.

since he is closing all the coal mines a Rushmore sized statue is out or maybe that is why he is closing them so there will be enough coal for that
