What is up with Colorado? Another school shooting? Doesn't that State have ultra strict gun controls? When are they going to learn that guns are not the problem?

You're right, it was rhetorical question. Liberals never learn.

Why do the shooter's always kill themselves? If they are not successful at that, they always want to plead insanity. Should they not just look in the mirror, declare insanity and then shoot themselves?

Think it might be backwards?

You would be correct. In fact, marijuana was legalized through a voter referendum. Gun control was "legalized" through legislators decisions.

Lack of proper training I guess.

You have to take off your shoes and go through scans to get on an airplane. Anyone can walk into a school and blow kids away. Why is air travel more sacred than a school? We have a Federal agency to protect air travelers, but kids? You"re on your own kiddo's!

Gun free zone, no security=s killing zone. Cold, but accurate.

A police officer cannot enter a gun free school zone with his officially issued weapon to pickup his child; however, under police regulations when in uniform must have his weapon on his person. Hmmm....seems odd to me.

Here we go again.

The rabid anti-gun loons are salivating once more at a chance to stick it to gun owners with the notion of more dead children. They're the only ones who really live up to the "don't let a good crisis go to waste" Alenskite doctrine by politicizing a tragedy. Progressives are perfect predators.

That's because legislators know that voters wouldn't stand behind all this gun control crap. As usual, the politicians think they know what's good for the electorate, even if the electorate doesn't. In MA. there was a referendum on English immersion for immigrants. The voters passed it by over 60%. The Democratic congress decided that the voters shouldn't have passed it and didn't enforce it.

If they shot themselves first, they would not have to bother with declaring insanity. I would be happy to volunteer my time in showing them the most efficient way to achieve self-termination. After all, self-termination is the ultimate self-determination, and we do want these souls to end on a positive, self-realized note, don't we?

That's what I mean. Teach them that the best statement would be for them to shoot themselves - twice.

You are right. Suggesting that gun control is an answer to school shootings makes as much sense as saying that controlling underware manufacture will prevent underware bombers.
