I heard about Trump considering Pruitt yesterday and here is a message about that very thing. Maybe true and maybe not. You can't trust those east coast newspapers.

Someone needs to hit the brakes with the EPA, they are now 95 percent political.

And very partisan, at that. Yep, the EPA needs to get back to regulating Congressional law as they were supposed to do before Clinton pushed them the other direction.

Luddites every one at this juncture and that does not serve us at all. Only the very vocal nutbar fringe. The current infatuation with wind turbines a case in point.

What the EPA needs is to be abolished. But, if it stays, I hope Pruitt takes a flamethrower to that place and burns out all the weeds and garbage.

Heard some lefty wacko on Tucker tonight call this guy a climate denier and Nazi. Then she told Tucker that Trump uses derogatory remarks.

Interesting how telling the plain unvarnished truth is always labeled negative by the lying mainline media, who all run from any pronouncement of truth as if they were Henny Penny and the sky were falling.

Not just a critic but someone who's sued them in the past. And why would this surprise anyone? Who better to dismantle the EPA than someone who hates it...

I just hope who ever gets in will take the time and study the loss of the Butter flies and birds. Wind mills and pesticide use on farms as well. Not many around any more.

That is good and about time, for the EPA needs to be reined in. The EPA was not instituted to make laws, but only to enforce them, but under Obama they have made more new laws than the US Congress has during Obama's terms as President, and many of them are ridiculous and infringe on the American people's rights, especially their land rights, making a dug pond on private property the ownership of the federal government, and under EPA control, just one example of their ridiculous over-reach. It's time the EPA goes back to enforcing our laws, and let the US Congress make them, as mandated in the US Constitution.

Maybe it's time that we got someone in the EPA as a leader who is more interested in the welfare of humans than of butterflies, birds ands striped snails. In my area the EPA prohibited a river impoundment from holding back enough water to keep the lake levels high enough for boats to function and docks to be usable. Why? Because they were concerned that the zebra mussels in the river below would not have enough water to reproduce and maintain their numbers. The big question is what would the mussels do if there wasn't a dam in the first place. Some of the rules and policies the EPA has put into place and enforced are simply insane. We can see what happens when a bureaucracy gets out of hand. They feel they are there to make things work like THEY want them to. We have had enough management by so-called "tree huggers." Doesn't it make sense to move a little the other way and stop some of the EPA's nonsense. I am an outdoorsman and I care for our natural resources but not to the exclusion of recreation.

Great idea Blade, then every community in the U.S. can have their own "Love Canal"!

Turn the Great Lakes back into the worlds greatest industrial waste dump!

The problem is pencil pushing bureaucrats who turn one page of law into a hundred pages of regulations!

Repealing two regulations for every new regulation created sounds to me, like a good place to start.

I have to give you one "atta boy" for talking about how Trump thinks he can help us out with that removal of regulations.

You mentioned only the good things that EPA has done to certain parts of the nation. My son, who is a diesel mechanic says he believes that following California, as they have done so many times, has caused diesel engines to wear out sooner and that so many of their regs about diesel have done so much to raise the prices of so many things we buy since so many of them are hauled by diesel powered trucks. An owner of a diesel fleet told me years ago that every time his prices go up he just raises what he charges and, of course, that raise is passed on down to us.
