Do you think perhaps he realizes congress still is investigating her regarding the foundation, plus.impeachment, and at this point in time he can let that proceed without his interference?
He had said he would appoint a special prosecutor. Perhaps right now the investigations and related plans are nearing conclusion and his getting in it could gum it up.

This, I think, is one of those
THERE MUST BE MORE TO IT THAN MEETS THE EYE things.
I know there has to be some explanation.. there HAS to be some explanation.. the chant, "LOCK ER UP!" is still ringing in my ears.
"WE'LL" see, LtL. I'm betting that no other mortal human being on earth could have (D)efeated the most corrupt and (D)eceitful machine this country has ever known. Any other normal Republican would have been road-kill in the first week after the primary's; and ALL, but "THE DONALD," were WAY under-the-buss, long before the end of the primary's. To have beaten JUST the Clinton machine's billion - with a "B," BILLION + DOLLAR$ of 24/7/365 barrage of poison arrows, coming from EVERY (D)irection, was nothing less than miraculous. Now add the Marx/Alinsky administration, all the "RINO'S," and their "lap-dog, state-run, alphabet channel" media, and the "miracle," looks more like God's selection of another Cyrus, "The Good Shepherd," "to restore dilapidated dwellings, and to put an end to misfortunes." GOD BLESSED AMERICA!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO "BORN AGAIN," PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!!! And; "DRAIN THAT SWAMP!!!"
I expect him to keep his promise, or explain why. I voted for him, this was one important issue to all that voted for him. Hillary is not a good person! She deserves the same punishment that others received, and for a lesser crime.

May I say that I voted for Trump because he said he would not appoint a left leaning judge to the Supreme Court. Sure I didn't want that lying Hag of Chappaqua to be elected but it was the judgeship that was my main reason. Now think that he can't appoint a special prosecutor before he is inaugurated so maybe he is just waiting till he is the President. I hardly believe that but it could be. Also, I think that Jason Chaffetz who is the chair of the Oversight Committee will go on with his investigation against her. Trump can't stop that committee from operating since it is Congressional. Also, Trey Gowdy is on a special committee that was begun under the auspices of the House and again I don't think Trump can stop them from operating especially before he takes office.
Also, remember that none of these people can do anything before a trial and they don't want to find out how far Obama would go. Would he really pardon her before a trial? He won't be able to do that after January 20 so they have to wait. Trump is held back by this and the fact that he is only the Elected President and hasn't been inaugurated.
Speaking of inauguration, will his be as grand as the coronation of Obama was?
As president elect he has to be careful and not stir up emotions ,, he has no power yet and if he pounds the table and insist on prosecution what would Obama do ??
Pardon hillary ?? The president does not prosecute , the DOJ does and in a law and order administration that's the procedure . The left and media are doing their best to draw out Trump before he takes office . Trump not falling for it , the Trump DOJ will be instructed to follow the law no more and no less ..No worry's ,, unless your hillary ..
I sure hope you are correct! Thanks for the response .

Another explanation is that when Trump recently came to Christ it softened his.approach to.issues. However, that was before he made some of his.harsher comments about Hillary and prison etc, yet he still said them.

And he will appoint a Attorney General and let them deal with Hillary the pig.
Or maybe he's trying to calm things down a bit until after January 20th. For now, maybe he'll try to let Congress work on it and pressure them to be the so-called bad guys. He needs to unify the country right now and I think he realizes that. Technically, it's not even up to him, but will fall on the lap of the A.G. Just maybe, he wants to wait until Sen. Sessions gets confirmed. He's just trying to soft-peddle it for now, IMHO. I hate to see him breaking promises already and I seriously don't think he's doing that. You start breaking promises before you get in office and people will start calling you that dirty name, "politician". Hey, what about the honeymoon period. Just watched a segment with Shaq, and Ernie, and even Barkley. Was pretty good. Charles Barkley basically said give him a chance. Good for him. Obviously, I agree. Stephen A. Smith was a little nasty, but hey they better get used to it. if they're in the market and at the end of year, they're up 15-20%, they better thank him.

I agree with that assessment. I think the left is trying to present Trumps promises as simple bantering that he doesn't expect to follow through with. And as you have stated, if he goes full throttle with his campaign promises before he is the standing president, he will be fighting for every decision for the next four years. Holding back and getting a strong cabinet formed and his administration on board will work to his benefit in the long run. He is just facing his opponents intelligently. It's easier to boil a frog when you start with cold water!
