Disabled Vet from 101st, hence, "WoundedEagle". Drink my tea in my Right hand in my Red Lonestar State. Carried a gun, Bible, and Constitution all my Conservative life. Enjoyed studying sociology & politics while majoring in medicine and criminal justice in college. Look forward to conversing/bantering with "y'all folks".

It's good you're 101st. You're used to being surrounded. I suspect you'll get out of here alive as well. Welcome to our nightmare.

Howdy. You will find a good many other Vets here. I am not a disabled Vet, I am a Vet who got disabled in a stupid accident twenty-five years after my discharge. I wasn't nearly that clumsy while on active duty. ( I wasn't nearly as old, either).

I'm glad my aches and pains are mellow. When I was unmellow, my ankle and knee didn't sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies when I got up in the morning.

No, but my patience with idiots is exhausted. Idiot being, of course, anyone with whom I disagree, at least when I'm in this sort of mood. I'm sure you're familiar with the feeling, you're just reticent about expressing it. Matter of fact, I am experiencing bouts of tinnitus. My eyesight remains inviolate, it is still better than most people's. I believe I mentioned that my doctor said it was extraordinary for someone my age to have eyesight as acute as mine. (Gloat).

Thank you for your service. There are more than a few vets in here. I, myself, had served in the 2/75th in late 70's.

Glad your here. Don't hesitate to chime in.
