I'm a former cryptologist in the U.S. Navy.
Have been a independent voter up to George Bushes Presidency. Al Gore was the reason I voted for President Bush, but not because I loved George Bush. Al Gore scared me but not about global warming. I felt he wasn't a stable person. I've watched God be taken out of the country and abortion going wild, so I voted Republican ever since.
I also know how incompetent many government workers are because they have no incentive to excel and never learn leadership and organizational skills. (Ex. Obama Care, Medicare, Social Security all going bankrupt)

Welcome aboard, you will find many on this site that totally agree with you and then you will come face to face with the left side and they will drive you up one side and down the other. I call it circular logic and after watching and yes even indulging in discussions with these people I have decided to resist and not offer them the satisfaction of getting me tied up in their charades.
