Elections in America

For some reason, our system of electing a president seems a bit weird; kind of a balance of letting people vote and letting them think their vote actually counts. From super-delegates to the Electoral College, we have a system which is designed NOT to give power to the people.

Is it just me or is this contradictory to basic thinking in a free society??

Texas early voting started. Already cases of voter fraud. Get ready for a rebellion it's coming soon.

Who knows the extent of voter fraud, but I doubt there will be an organized rebellion. The mob will only organize under threat of violence from the gov and it's troops.

Actually, the Presidential Electoral College was designed to have individual State Legislatures, the Congressional House Districts' Citizens, and the Congressional Senate Representatives' representation of the whole State be part of electing Our President...

Article 2 of the USA Constitution has the individual State Legislatures appoint Electorates for each House Seat and Senate Seat in Congress... The Citizens in each House District Votes for the Electorate of their District, and the 2 Senate Electorates... The Electorate with the most Votes in each House District and the Senate Electorates for the Statewide Vote meets with the State Legislature, and cast their Vote... The total vote of House and Senate Electrates are then sent to the USA Congress to be counted...

But Federal Law and Supreme Court decisions have interpreted Article 2 allowing the individual States to dictate how every State Electorate must Vote in their State...

Until the Congress Passes and the States Ratify an Amendment explicitly stating what the Presidential Election process is, the Citizens are a minor piece of the Elections...

Same thing in Illinois as Candidate Jim Moynihan (R-56), tried to vote for himself and other republicans only to have the machine transfer his votes to the democrats instead. He did get it fixed and changed back before he left. Also watch out for the walking dead in Illinois as voting has started we will see more dead people out walking about and voting here. Also large buses of voters will be out traveling about in both Illinois and Wisconsin as well as other states I'm sure.
