Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens to Benghazi to recover anti-aircraft Stinger missiles that fell into the hands of militants after the State Department illegally supplied them to Libyan rebels.

The Truth:

Accusations that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens to Benghazi to retrieve U.S.-supplied Stinger missiles that fell into the hands of terrorists are unproven. These rumors went viral in October 2016, shortly after the Justice Department dropped charges against Marc Turi, an American private arms dealer who had been accused of selling weapons to Libyan rebels.

Politico reports that Turi’s lawyers had threatened to expose new details about Clinton’s involvement in arming the rebels in the lead up to the attack in Benghazi that left Stevens dead:

The deal averts a trial that threatened to cast additional scrutiny on Hillary Clinton’s private emails as Secretary of State, and to expose reported Central Intelligence Agency attempts to arm rebels fighting Libyan leader Moammar Qadhafi.

Government lawyers were facing a Wednesday deadline to produce documents to Turi’s legal team, and the trial was officially set to begin on Election Day, although it likely would have been delayed by protracted disputes about classified information in the case.

A Turi associate asserted that the government dropped the case because the proceedings could have embarrassed Clinton and President Barack Obama by calling attention to the reported role of their administration in supplying weapons that fell into the hands of Islamic extremist militants.

After charges against Turi were dropped, an older rumor went viral on Facebook that Clinton had dispatched Stevens to Benghazi to buy back U.S. Stinger missiles from Ansar al Sharia. (I think Turi is lucky to still be living! Don D.)

I have no idea what the accuracy of this story is, but it is interesting....

So here's the REAL story. Ambassador Stevens was sent to Benghazi post haste in order to retrieve US made Stinger missiles supplied to Ansar al Sharia without Congressional oversight or permission. Hillary brokered the deal through Stevens and a private arms dealer named Marc Turi. Then some of the shoulder fired missiles ended up in Afghanistan used against our own military. It was July 25th, 2012 when a Chinook helicopter was taken down by one of our own Stingers, but the idiot Taliban didn't arm the missile and the Chinook didn't explode, but had to land anyway. An ordnance team recovered the serial number off the missile which led back to a cache of Stingers being kept in Qatar by the CIA. Obama and Hillary were now in full panic mode and Stevens was sent in to retrieve the rest of the Stingers. This was a "do-or-die" mission, which explains the stand down orders given to multiple commando teams. It was the State Dept, not the CIA that supplied them to our sworn enemies, because Petraeus wouldn't supply these deadly weapons due to their potential use on commercial aircraft. Then, Obama threw Gen. Petraeus under the bus after he refused to testify that he OK'd the BS talking points about a spontaneous uprising due to a Youtube video. Obama and Hillary committed treason...and THIS is what the investigation is all about, why she had a private server, (in order to delete the digital evidence), and why Obama, two weeks after the attack, told the UN that the attack was because of a Youtube video, even though everyone knew it was not. Further...the Taliban knew that this administration aided and abetted the enemy without Congressional approval when Boehner created the Select Cmte, and the Taliban began pushing the Obama Administration for the release of 5 Taliban Generals. Bowe Bergdahl was just a pawn...everyone KNEW he was a traitor. So we have a traitor as POTUS that is not only corrupt, but compromised...and a woman that is a serial liar, perjured herself multiple times at the Hearing whom is running for POTUS. Only the Dems, with their hands out, palms up, will support her. Perhaps this is why no military aircraft was called in...because the administration knew our enemies had Stingers.

Unfortunately there is no evidence other than the missle traced back to the CIA supplied Stingers, and that is anecdotal as well. I haven't heard or read any unimpeachable source saying this. That said, I find the scenario entirely plausible and probably true. In October, prior to the emergence of the eRumor, I SPECULATED in my post "A Question of Honor":

"I can't get my head around what the Ambassador was doing there. The official story that he was trying to retrieve weapons that had been provided to the local Moslem terrorists is unbelievable. No one in their right mind would give up a weapon in that environment, that would be committing suicide.

Was his purpose to retrieve evidence of some kind, such as serialized weaponry that could be traced to Clinton-Obama? If he was engaged in some kind of cover-up for them it is possible that allowing the Moslems to murder him got rid of an inconvenient witness?

Or it might be as simple as her infirmities required medications that deprived her of the ability to do anything but sleep. Perhaps if they called Huma Abedin the troops would have been ordered out.

Ignoring all of the ambassador's prior requests for extraction make it obvious there was something Clinton wanted and the ambassador hadn't accomplished his task yet. Or was his task to be the false flag anchor for another war to be sold to the American people.

Essentially, I don't believe there is any evil so heinous that our government would hesitate to perpetrate, usually in the name of "security" for the protection of women and children. The everlasting child card!"
