Back then we had.no cable or satellite, just 3 stations. I think the Creature Feature late night audience was around 100,000 and I don't think one person took it seriously....unless the movie was Creature From the Black Lagoon or one of the sequels. That one got to everyone. All the other movies were nothing like that one. Some were even comedies like Abbot and Costello meet Dracula.
It was a lot of fun.
Yes, I had a good time at the ball but I had forgotten how heavy those boots were. I'm not a kid any more. First time out.for fun in a long time. Need to do it more often.

Heck my dad liked watching Twilight Zone...That was about it for me..He'd always say, baby doll they are reruns and you see nothing happened to us..Yeah right, but it could!!! Lolol

When I was a kid I'd sometimes dream I was a mile away at a pond in a park. The creature would come.out of the pond and start that slow walk toward me and no matter how hard I tried, my feet seemed to stick to the ground and I could only go so far...then get stuck...and he would keep coming. I'd wake up in the middle of the night sweating. No joke. 2 years like that off and on. Then I started growing and one night I dreamt the creature was coming after me and on the ground was my Eddie Matthews Louisville Slugger bottle bat. I picked it up and beat him to a pulp with it.
Never had the dream again. True story!

Yes, pre~gun days...hehe..My biggest weapon, I wore my cross because of Dracula, never took it off.. True story too...heck when I wear it even now I think of why I did then.....lololol Crazy things, huh, doc?? But lasting memories even now.....

Lol. It is interesting that as one ages, some childhood memories become so vivid.

Yes, plenty, basic and advanced, moving targets etc..That is not me in the pic but she is shooting my 357, glock...
You giving lessons, if so, then no, never had the first lesson..Ya need to show me...
