What is the benefit to having illegals streaming into the country?

I for one see no benefits. Many on the left seem to be for open borders or comprehensive immigration reform. Whatever that is. If you are for open borders or more illegals becoming citizens, I ask why? I really don't understand the reasoning behind this stance. Please explain.

It's psychological, it will improve our state of mind.
The act of helping others in need will put the whole nation into a state of euphoria!
We'll be so happy we'll be shooting celebration salvos for centuries!

The reasoning of LEFTISTS is that they will have "whipped" the republicans and decency. That is enough for them, they attain their goal, forget that they too will be just about bad off as the rest of us........the left do not and cannot GRASP logic, reasoning, facts. You are 100% correct. They want what they perceive to be perfection, but they cannot have it so they dream up what is "perfection" and demand that everyone follow their ditzy ideas.......even other leftists will not follow the leader for very long, and they will NEVER BE SATISFIED BECAUSE SATISFACTION IS NOT WITHIN THEIR DNA. Just like alternate energy. When talk of putting windmills on the East Coast came out years ago, the Kerry's ,Kennedys, and all the other coastal elites said no way. They would mess up their view. With liberal's its always do what I say not as I do.
