I hear it all the time. There is no evidence for Noah's flood. Well, here it is. As far as I can tell, everything in this article is 100 percent verifiable. Take a look.

A book that confirms, not one but two floods, "Uriels Machine"
And another that supports other biblical positions, "Forbidden History"

There is quite a bit of evidence supporting a flood in the Eastern Mediterranean. However, the evidence indicates this flooding happened about 10,000 years ago and was likely the result of tectonic activity rather than torrential rains. Nevertheless, there were numerous small farming communities in this area during those Neolithic times. Bear in mind that literacy in those days was quite rare, and history was preserved by storytellers who were not above embellishing their stories to make them more interesting. This is one reason it is said that every myth has a true story as it's inspiration. The Maya Indians of Central America also had flood legends. Massive tectonic activity could have caused large tidal waves which caused what would seem to be worldwide flooding, since most settlements were not far from one ocean or another.

People, separated by vast distances, have flood stories in their repertoire of legends, so either they had an early form of the internet - or they all experienced a massive flood at some point - the same point. Of course, some folks are big believers in coinkydinks.

My point being that there is a lot of evidence that there was a flood, but it was several thousand years earlier than the one described in the Bible. For that matter, the city of Jericho apparently predates creation by about 3000 years. Much of the Bible has been proven to be true, but there are some discrepancies in the timeline. The first books, attributed to Moses, were actually written during the Babylonian captivity, more than 900 years after Moses' death. This is what I meant by storytelling as a means of recording history at a time when the vast majority of the world's populace was illiterate. Storytellers embellish stories to make them more entertaining as well as educational.

I'm thinking whoever designed that site was color blind.

It all depends on where you get your info from. You have experts on both sides, and they don't agree. So who is correct?

Let's take your first claim. No one knows when Creation took place, and Jericho cannot be older than creation. How reliable is the dating for Jericho? Did anyone else come up with same date? Did they use radio metric dating?

I'd also like a link for your source about Moses.
