Obama is a snake-in-the-grass

Barack Obama just pulled an Obamacare stunt to hide the fact that hundreds-of-millions of Americans will lose their coverage after 2014 election.

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said it best: "That means if premiums go through the roof in the first year of Obamacare, no one will know it until after the 2014 election. This is clearly a cynical political move... to hide key information from voters." And the implications of this delay are crystal clear. Barack Obama knows, and has always known, that hundreds of millions of Americans will lose their healthcare or see their rates go through the roof when his employer mandate kicks in...and he doesn't want people to know it until after the 2014 election.

This latest cynical move simply proves that his rollout of this evil is no incompetent mistake. Obamacare is clearly a fraud...an evil and cruel hoax that is being perpetrated on the American people and delaying it or fixing it won't stop it.

REPEAL IS THE ONLY OPTION!

It needs to be repealed for sure...we have to win control of the senate to get it done.

Poetic Justice. There was lots of facts telling he was not what he seemed.

I have to wonder about all those people who actually believed every word he uttered, and I wonder even MORE about those who still defend him, especially considering he isn't the least bit defensible!! I base it all on their inability to reason, to utilize logic ........ it's like all of them are brain dead. And this isn't even a horror movie - yet.

The horror is the millions of Americans who would have no access to health care at all. Critics keep repeating that insurance premiums will "go through the roof." What were they doing before the ACA?

There will be fewer with good coverage who NEED it than there are now. This is a scam and everyone knows it, but the left cannot bring itself to admit what it actually is: the acquisition of uncontrolled POWER.

Had the dems actually CARED about anyone, they'd have at least listened to critics LONG before they "passed it so that they could learn what was in it". They were filled with hubris and were determined to SEE TO IT that this piece of garbage was foisted off onto Americans whether or not they wanted it; ergo, caring could not have possibly been in the mix. Greed for power was the sole factor in the mix.

On another forum over 4 years ago I put forth a suggestion for getting everyone who wanted it total insurance coverage with the poor having to put out NOTHING. Nor would the government have to use tax payers' dollars to gain power. I was laughed off the panel by both lefties and righties. To hell with everybody else - I KNOW what I plan to do about MY health issues.

We are now enjoying a populace that has fallen into the clutches of the evil liars of their government plotters. These people have traded their freedom, sovereignty, and natural rights for a promise of something that is never fully explained or proven, but sounds to be so exotic that even the naturally pessimistic will succumb to the lies and hopes of the gullible. Isn't that what Johnson's infamous "War on Poverty" was all about? Did he not sell the people on his plan to make everyone, even the professional welfare recipient, a middle class populace? People did not even suspect anything wrong when he took the SS out of it's own fund and put it into the General Fund where it could be robbed at random. Nor did they suspect a thing when he made it mandatory for everyone to pay into FICA whether they wanted to or b not. All they could see was the big lie concerning equality to even the worthless and lazy one's that had made a career out of the dole. And that, people, was the beginning of the BIG LIE that we are still falling victim to.

"To hell with everybody else" seems to be the solution for most critics of any solution to the problems facing the country during an economic depression. But I'm getting off topic.
You were talking about liberal greed and callous noncaring.

Agree with every word you wrote, EXCEPT when the BIG LIE began. I think it began when the Federal Reserve was put into place, and was greatly expanded with Franklin Roosevelt's "new programs" within his NEW DEAL. Shortly after Roosevelt's reign, our government came down on the communists in America, but so much howling was done that it was stopped. The communists then entered their closets as some came pretty close to being found out, and they decided they MUST meld into : media, entertainment, unions, and schools. So they have been simmering for some decades. THIS flake of a President was the announcement that it was now safe to come out of their closets - and they DID, with pent-up fervor, and one can see the hatred of the rest of us dribble down their chins.

One talk show host calls them the Under Informed. Since the press and President both speak out of the same side of their mouth, is it imperative that We the People (all 330 million) broaden our knowledge base and see beyond what the Pres. says.

Yep, Unfortunately for the nation are the number of people who are apparently incapable of learning anything whatsoever except how to grub for someone else's money.

A few short years ago there was such a thing as going to the doctor and paying out of one's own pocket. Even an appendectomy cost less than two hundred dollars and the patient stayed in the hospital for at least a week. In 1964, when our daughter was born, our total doctor fee for the total 9 months of care and hospital cost less than $200.00. But then came the medical card and all the extra freebies that came with it and the medical prices seemed to shoot up overnight. Evidently the doctors wanted to get in on the great freebies that the government was giving the one's too lazy to work to support their families.
