buffalo, The color of one's skin is an accident of birth. It has nothing at all to do with a person's character. I have met fine Black people and terrible Whites, as you have. One of the heroes of my youth, Martin Luther King said it all when he declared that a person should be judged by his character not the color of his skin.
I believe that racism is the plague of our times. It has caused genocide, hatred and war on a scale unknown before the twentieth century.
The major religions of the world all believe that the golden rule is at the center of morality. Jesus especially preached this simple standard of good.
As far as fascism is concerned, it is based on several falsehoods. The first is belief in a divinely inspired leader, the second is belief in a lie. For the fascists of Italy is was the superiority of the nation, for German Nazis it was the racial superiority of Germans. There are others as well.

He would.tell all that by going to that well so often, the term has become meaningless. There was a time when the word said something about how the accused conducted themself, but it has been worn out to the point that today says less about the accused and more about the accuser.

I think having an invite only section may be a good way to avoid some of the profanity although I see TD has already filthied it up there. Perhaps management will barr him, hopefully.
I also think we could work together here to block those worst violators from any thread one of us begins. I don't know about anyone else, but there is a list of several posters here who cross the line on a regular basis and I really don't care what any of them think whether it be in agreement with me or not. At one point it becomes so ugly to read their posts, I lose interest in their opinions and frankly I don't care to wallow through sewage to find meat.
I'd be in favor of blocking these people from further interaction.
Too much salt rubbed into too many open wounds done with too much glee.
