Well I'm a rightie always have been, however my comments had nothing to do with who or what color someone is receiving entitlements, because I don't care what color, political party, etc. my views on entitlements are the same, and no it's not they should be stopped, but I do think there should be a program/ guidelines attached. I live and grew up in West Tennessee and I get a kick out of what I read on OPP and others, from people who talks about the south, because they have know clue what people of any race are like in the south. Yeah there are a lot of poor and uneducated white and blacks out in what we call the country, but the rural areas and they don't complain, they're very friendly, and would help anyone who asked or needed. And just like most places we have what I'll call thuggish/disrespectful white and black folks, that I don't have the time of day for, and yeah, I don't have to deal with that much where I live, it's a small town of 8,800 and was ranked #2 last year in Tennessee as the best place to raise a family, now Memphis is 40 or miles from here and it has been the most dangerous city in America and has been in the top 5 every year since mid 2000.

Oh I did not say all righties but if you were to read historically in OPP you would find some gems...and I'm guilty of responding in kind....responding and not initiating......I even tried to get some to sign onto a "non-racist" declaration to show that I only talk shit for the sport of it and it is never genuine and from the heart........but I understand people are individuals and do not generalize at all....that is not too intelligent

I've noticed a strange phenomenon on OPP. Only after some bigot gives some asinine tirade about blacks that they are considered equal. Actually they lump all blacks in one category and it seems like the ones who are successful and educated are hated the most. Why is that? Take Ben Carson for example..of all the accolades given to him by those believe he is a fine example of what African American can achieve the second he believe the hype and start believing the hype that he's better than the most ignorant white he's out! This is why Ben Carson can make the most outrageous statements and they will defend him to the end. Behind closed doors if that nigger don't sit his ass down he better. I have proof! Try me if you dare.

Ha! You know that's hilarious P. You won't believe the private e mails I have received by conservatives condemning the behavior of their comrades at arms. But don't you get it twisted to think that they're sincere. Their silence tell a different story. You are a prime example.

Yeah, that does happen and my opinion is that in Washington it happens a lot and I think it's not only done to blacks, but it happens to those that some feel hasn't served their time in Washington, it seems Bernie Sanders was done that way. When it comes to Ben Carson I don't say damn look what that black man has achieved, I see him as a respectful man that has achieved some amazing things and is a person I call a great role model for anyone. In 1973 I was in the 3rd grade in the public school system and my mid & year end achievement test scores dropped so bad my parents had me tested that summer before starting 4th, and I'm very fortunate to have the parents I do they put me in a private parochial school, damn what a change that was, and in that system grade school is 1-8th, then you go to the High School 9-12th and it was 75% white 25% black and in those 4 years I never saw a fight never heard one racial comment, it was more like an extended family and it still that way today, we have our own Facebook Group, we had our 30 year reunion a couple of years ago and the attendance is like 80%, six of them are doctors and Tracy who is black owns and built an OBGYN Clinic in Dallas that's amazing, but my point is we never viewed each other by race and another thing was that we all had in common was our parents raised us to be respectful and they cared about our education they were paying a lot of money for, plus the teachers knew that and hell we even won the Tennessee class A state football championship my junior year 13 - 0. I don't refer to my friends as my black friend Tony, he's my friend Tony, but back to Ben Carson and other successful blacks why do other blacks view them as uncle tom or a trader because they have different views/ opinions than the majority, and I've even seen/heard it in the private corporate world.

The Ben Carson's of the world makes me want to puke! There I said it! This guy with all of his brilliance represents the cynical dumbing down of blacks in general. You see to be a esteemed black in the GOP you must be a race traitor. I dare anyone on OPP to produce evidence that they are not. Ask Colin Powell.

NO, I'm a white guy who lives and grew up in West Tennessee. But I don't understand why you feel that way about Ben Carson, because I would feel/say the same thing about him even if he was a Democrat, he comes across to me as a respectful and honest person.

I was raised on the South and have experience with Ben Carson types. You see there is a pervasive self hate psychology going on here. I have yet to see Dr. Carson address a predominately black audience. You can forget it. He is a shill fot Republicans to get blacks to vote GOP.

I meant to give you this info I attached, it's about a documentary on a family from BOONE CO. WEST VIRGINIA, they are a good example of what people mean by white trash and this family is in no way the typical Appalachian Family, they are the extreme minority, and the reason the family even got on film makers radar was because a couple of them were in 2 different documentaries back in the 80's about this style of mountain dance they do. I was online searching for something about 3 years ago and happened to see some clips from the film and then I watched the film, it's like 90 minutes.
